London Power part of the Octopus group is without doubt the best energy company I have dealt with I have dealt with many over the years and not found any to be as easy to contact or have as transparent information and helpful staff I would particularly like to single out Ellie from my most recent experience Although she is representative of other excellent colleagues Ellie took the time to understand my issue and in a couple of days resolved it It is not only the efficiency I commend her for but also for exemplary customer service in keeping me informed throughout I am unsurprised by Which Magazine s recommendation for this company my personal experience validates their findings unreservedly

We have been with them for two years or so now No problems with supply or payments Their bills are very clear in terms of showing your usage Moreover just switched to their lower price tariff - which was very easy and straightforward

Got a quote from them but was surprised that it was the most expensive of all the others I had by a long way Perhaps the Mayor should direct his attentions to the traffic problems he s created instead of vanity projects like this

Huge price hike

I ve been in credit for the whole year the amount going up up Now my fixed tariff is nearly up they ve informed me via a rather cursory email that my tariff is going up by almost 30 per month approx 2 3 rds more from 49 96 to 78 59 with no explanation although we all know what they ll blame nor any apology nor reasons to stick with them The co was set up to provide Londoners with supposedly the best deal it s the main reason I switched to them in the first place There is no link to the actual unit prices either so I ve got to go hunting again online to see what s happened with each tariff gas electric daily charge vs usage As I only actually use electricity within my property as gas heat hot water is via a communal source it really shouldn t be this high a monthly charge
