Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service Inconsistent messaging and pricing policy to add secondary address Advised the car was off road due to faulty brakes and awaiting garage to order parts and they advised my 17yr old to drive it 2 miles with no brakes just to get it to the registered address Whilst off road they sent a notice of cancellation as the car hadn t been used for 7 days Still not resolved and extremely stressful for all involved Shocking experience AVOID

Having to sell my car because this company emailed me saying if i didn t buy more miles that my insurance would be void i still have 3500 miles Demanding 1500 in a week from a 17 year old is utterly unfair and ridiculous this company is absolutely disgusting how they think it s alright even think this is an option for such young driver

Absolutely rubbish so annoyed with them Every time I m trying to get quote for extra miles or cancel I m given different cancellation rates and time first it was 50 days and again I phoned today within 50 days but was told 30 days cancellation fee of 75 which I was told for 50 days but after 30 days I have to pay extra 350 for cancellation They are biggest scammers Just after youngsters money Scamming new drivers who are not much aware of insurance providers and policies Everytime you phone given different prices for cancellation or miles Everytime their policies just change Not recommending to anyone absolutely rubbish

Attempted to escalate my complaint

Attempted to escalate my complaint - was advised I would get a reply in 3 working days 7 days later after chasing I received a generic templated response The ultimate computer says no level of service Yes we know that you informed us that the car was in for repair but we don t care enough or at all to take this into account so we are canceling your son s insurance who can t do ANYTHING about it as he is out on exercise in the Army Yes they are THAT kind of company Prompt templated email response below

Absolute disgrace of an insurance comany

So this company quoted me 1 200 for the whole year and I have ended up paying them upwards of 3 000 with the amount of phone calls emails and messages that came every other week saying they predicted I would go over the mileage I put on my policy They also penalised me for going out and coming home late at night knowing full well I work in a pub and I commonly work nights This was my first insurance company having passed my driving test and getting a car at the age of 17 and all I would say to others thinking of going with this company is DON T because they will milk you for every penny you are worth and they will proceed to give you an even higher quote for the second year if you stay with them

I certainly don t recommend them for

I certainly don t recommend them for the new young drivers When the blackbox gets faulty they threaten the 17 year old with policy cancellation before instruction how to reset Then they fleece the poor girl out of 56 when by mistake she cancels the policy 12 days before it expires without advising she d be better off letting it lapse In the meantime due to the change of their partner s risk policy they are unable to offer a renewal Terrible company though my daughter was a careful driver scoring 9 out of 10 on her black box Avoid

Stay Away

Either ensure you have fully read terms and conditions AND understood them or STAY AWAY The ethics of this company are questionable - quotes are cheaper for a reason and pray on the younger drivers Read other reviews on Google - not a great experience by many If I could give zero stars I would If you can provide details of where to share the additional information I can do so Thank you

Be aware of this company they will keep

Be aware of this company they will keep going and going trying to get you to change policies this is classed as pressurising sales tactics had this in a number of occasions told them that is this a sales tactic no this is only to keep you updated on your policies why a lot a off bull I even said to the guy this is pressurising sales tactics that s when the phone went dead Get a phone call from them be well aware of constant grief this information will be passed over the the FCA

Took out a policy for a new driver paid

Took out a policy for a new driver paid in full because my son is a full time student he drives to school on a Sunday evening the car is then locked in there car park until Friday afternoon he then drives home MY POLICY then informed us that the premium would increase from 800 to over 1800 per annum 75 cancelation fee 12 per day or 6 days

Don t waste your time

Don t waste your time trying to get a human response from this company - go direct to the Ombudsman They will hide behind computer says no without a grain of human empathy or consideration They simply DON T care I escalated the complaint 7 days ago and was told I would receive a response in 3 days the reply came through today see below By all accounts it appears that the timelines they hold customers to don t apply to themselves
