Bad experience that was rectified in a professional manner

We had a bit of a bad experience and ended up cancelling the policy due to mileage issues but after a second phone call from the complaints department they took my comments on board and refunded a decent amount of the money we d paid so well done and thankyou it was much appreciated

I like how the company works and is very easy and accessible very good insurance company and they have very nice staff don t have to wait and no hold time only bad thing I can say is it is a little expensive for my age other than that brill

Typically i wont go out my to review but this has pushed me to do so My car has been having issues for a little while i let mypolicy be aware of the current issue car is a non starter as of right now due to trying to diagnose the vechile the Telematic device was removed and unplugged for self diagnosing reasons Which mypolicy was told due to been stressed out i havent managed to let them know right away i was planning to do so but trying to get the car fixed so i had other intentions in place as priority then i get an email that it needs to be plugged in unless its in a garage i find it disgusting how they can threaten customers with cancellation policy instead of calling the customer directly to make sure everything is fine Not the worse company but not the best OHHH and they charge you for miles they ask you for an estimate NOPE They mean right to the point of exactly how many your asking for not an ESTIMATE

Zero Transparency

First of all they are not insurance company they are a broker between Insurance companies and telematics teams but they don t communicate this clearly on their website When I bought my policy I ended up having the policy with Axa Second Every thing is a self service they expect you to chase the telematics company ensure box is installed follow up to ensure they get a signal as if you are a full time employee working for them not a customer Third They are looking for ONLY young Drivers After completing my first year with them My score was 7 10 and I only used the agreed millages The refused to re-new the policy for me calming that their insurer changed their criteria This lead me to go again search in the market buy insurance from a another company at a higher premium Do not give a weight for Reviews talking about customer service They are too shallow if they are authentic

Black box fitting difficulties

I suppose the true test of an insurance company is when you have to make a claim Our only issue with these guys was when we 1st took out the policy and tried to get the black box fitted The company charged with fitting it kept making appointments and then kept cancelling to the point where we had to come back early from holiday in order to have to have it fitted My Policy were not very sympathetic through this Even though they knew it wasn t our fault Getting through to them and the black box fitting company also proved to be difficult with 1 hour wait times to speak to anyone

Review

The gentleman who spoke to me was extremely kind helpful patient and answered all questions Only critique was I was on hold for so long that the process was longer than my total lunch break which made it difficult as there are no weekend calls

More to pay over 5000 miles

Call answered fairly quickly questions answered and request provided on time Being a pay mile service you might find yourself paying more than you bargained for on top of your basic insurance costs So ask a lot of questions The insurance is environmentally friendly so if you drive around a lot over long distances be prePared to pay probably double the initial costs on the long run looks cheap but not cheap over the insurance year

Okay company

Their scoring system is very random and doesn t give details on why you got a certain score or where on your trip you got that They also pressure you into buying more miles when you start to run out However I will say they aren t a harsh scoring company and have a great support customer team

good insurance company however there price on additional mileage is ALOT Got quoted 145 for an extra 1000 miles my sister got quoted 30 for 1000 and 100 for 5000 extra miles
