It honestly the instructors being so helpful is what makes this experience so great

It honestly the instructors being so helpful and knowledgable of the topics They reassure me a lot during the labs or the lessons and even the live events via zoom Any question I have is answered in a timely manner

Good training

I liked the training a lot and thought it to be challenging and it kept me excited for my future The help with resumes and fine tuning my LinkedIn was also really good I did not think the help with finding a job was as good as I thought it would though They are always there to coach you and help fine tune things as you go along though I would recommend this training to anyone wanting become a network engineer but pay outright if you can Getting a loan from your bank would be even better than the lief program

A Great Way to Get Into the World of IT

NGT was instrumental in helping me get into the world of IT They ve put together a program that gives you good resources and support Live classes along with on-demand learning resume help and mentoring give you a huge leg up on folks who are just trying to get into IT and dont know where to start If you can pay upfront you ll get a huge discount on the cost of the program -50 compared to the ISA Lifeling help and support It was a very demanding program but it was also very rewarding after 1 year I m now working as a Network Support Engineer for an ISP and making a much better income for my family than I ever have There s no secret to getting into this field just stick to it everyday and you ll get it

Great Place to Start

This course has changed how I view the area of IT I was very nervous when I started because I come from a completely different work background and didn t even know the basics of IT But once I got started on the first few lessons I started to pick up a lot of the information and vocab I think the instructors do a great job explaining the information in a simple but effective way The only recommendation I have is if possible go back and record older lessons that may have new concepts or information so that it is the most recent I can t be more grateful for the opportunity to learn about such an interesting field and soon be a part of the community

Labs brought the course to life

I benefitted from the labs and walkthroughs most The learning content covered a lot of foundational material but I didn t find that it was as engaging Took copious notes but didn t see this material tested at the end of the course Would like to have a kahoot file or more quizzes to re-inforce the learning The final exam was focused almost entirely on lab work but didn t address the content lectures Adon was always available when I needed help Would have liked a few tweaks in the SQC mostly regarding AirCrack which I was not able to follow along with Walkthrough on the lab setup will be helpful for future studies

The level of the training sessions seemed confusing at first because of a lot of information I was sucking-in within a short period of time but at the tailed end I was able to put the pieces together and whenever I raised a concern towards my study someone is always there and willing to help me out

Overall I had a great experience but I felt that I needed more time to complete the Skills check and take the written exam Also the skills check was confusing because I had to save and upload to milestones There s got to be an easier way

NexGenT packed a lot into their program to help people build their knowledge of networking and how to prepare for the job interview The teachers were helpful and provide resources in the form of lectures and labs This program asks a lot of you - ultimately you are the one who must put in the work They are there to help you get ready for the workforce Alums also continue to have access to great material to keep improving their job readiness
