Purchased an Arc server on Saturday The server never became available and gave the message Sat 18 Jun 2022 15 47 47 0200 ni77xxxxx 1 restarted more than 10 times in a row There seems to be something very wrong Stopping server WINDOWS This was two days ago ans still nobody has responded to my support request I went with another vendor Update I have now got a refund

ACC server issue

Brought a ACC server and it s been stuck in a restart loop for days raised a ticket but little to no help from Nitrado Very disappointedUPDATED Finally Got sorted and gave me 7 days rental for the loss of server time Update Server keeps going into a loop when changing cfg files and is very unstable at times Would not recommend an ACC server with Nitrado

Look at all these fake reviews praising a company that only cares about the value of money a customer brings in You need support they tell you there s nothing they can do with some issues then they have issues with their app and they say just get a refund and keep trying If I wanted schoolboy advice I d ask my 5 year old son What I m looking for is tech support from people who should know how to give support to customers that will be helpful in the industry they work in Now if you work in tech or coding and you can t fix your own app issues get help from someone who can and maybe hire that person on a permanent basis and that will better support you to properly help your paying customers

Incredibly overpriced for what they offer many cheaper alternatives elsewhere Customer service ran by what I can only assume to be petulant teenagers and what feels like deliberately obstructive policy when trying to refund or indeed in the end when closing an account

Started off fine and first impressions were decent

Started off fine and first impressions were decent this mid-year when there was actual full FTP access but ever since someone at a higher chain pushed out an update in late July early August it s been downhill in terms of functionally at least with 7 Days to Die I bought a 7DTD server when A21 experimental came out and eventually A21 stable cause I didn t need more than six slots and there was a 25 discount Full FTP access few hiccups here and there but it was easy to understand as I already knew how to do FTP from G-Portal usage for Project Zomboid Then some global site update occurred roughly a month later and oh my god the headaches rose as well as my blood pressure For a day or two you couldn t load custom generated worlds nor mods FileZilla started showing me way less access to folders that were there prior Few more days passed and the folder structure is still mostly hidden besides what you d really need to somewhat customize things Serverconfig xml serveradmin xml Mods folder etc Don t bother trying to upload your own generated world the July August 2023 system completely ignores it and your server only uses what it generated under a folder you have no access to Also onto how Mods work with this format Drag n drop boot Cool hold on why s the server saying an update is being installed Turns out this is the sh y workaround for mods with a very restrictive FTP structure Anything you put inside this folder is then copied to a hidden Mods folder you also don t have access to So that means if you came across a major multiplayer bug you have to uninstall the whole f ing shebang and reinstall starting from square one And I hope you like your time wasted cause alot of it will be figuring this s it out like I had to I finally had it when Darkness Falls V5 0 0 Stable released and went to G-Portal massively f ing improved experience and had everything running and fixed problems in minutes and guess what FULL FTP access like a real G Whoever reads this fork over the extra cash to save yourself time That s what s important after all Time to Money ratio and Nitrado s execs clearly stopped understanding that And no I don t want to hear Y o U r O p I n I o N m A k E s N i T r A d O b E t T e R from a support guy gal It was f ing better but Yes YOU support guy gal thinking about typing something your execs decided to f customers in the ass waste their time and and overall update to a system that quite frankly makes almost no god damned sense Thanks for reading P S jesus christ Trustpilot grow a spine and allow inappropriate language this isn t elementary school

4 Friends 1 Game 20 slots

Rented Nitrado s servers for ARK SE before to play with my friends a decent service alright performance and aside some minor crashes never really had a problem with Nitrado s servers A 10 slots server for around 13 month was IMHO a fair deal Bought ARK SA with a couple of friends and needed a server Only Nitrado Fine I guess Well where are those smaller hosting servers now Gone it seems Most of us don t even have 10 friends let alone up to 20 people to actually play the game not even considering all at the same time and adding that to the fact where official servers are currently pure cr p in terms of either stability or playability is just sad The problem here isn t the price itself it s the lack of options for smaller groups Not that 5 for each friend makes a difference in the end but knowing we are paying 4x the slots which we know for sure we won t ever use them Are those 20 slot servers more stable and have better performance than a 10 slot one In that case I would understand the minimum slots increase since it would also improve server performance even so there is nothing supporting that this is the case Forcing a small group of friends to pay more shows Nitrado s lack of interest thus the monopoly around ARK SA servers in supporting smaller communities or groups

Nitrado Participates on Anti-Consumer Practices

Nitrado entered an agreement to be the only company allowed to rent servers for Ark Survival Ascended making it effectively a monopoly Because of this now they re setting the prices as high as they want and with no competition we have to pay the prices no matter what Also the lack of competition means the quality of the service is poor and they lack incentives to improve I was a regular user of Nitrado servers but now I won t rent from them again I don t support companies who conspire against the consumer

Rented a Miscreated Server and the whitelist option would never be permanent I would have to whitelist after every restart Support ignored the request Over this Christmas weekend the server died on their end Contacted support and they told me they ended support for miscreated Horrible Experience Cancelling now lets see if I need to contact my CC

I hosted a nitrado ark server it was great the first day but the 2nd and the 3rd i had problems i did get in touch with the support team and chated with Ivan Rodriguez great guy he handled my problem really greatand fixed my issue the nitrado host is great the support team is great
