3 Shades of Grey and the Sound of Silence
Sadly Lampsy com had a problem with the Grey Eik Wall Lights supplied by Nordlux who are supposed to be a very reputable Danish company hence it s reasonable to expect good quality from them However as the saying goes He who expecteth receiveth nothing Nordlux supplied a total of 4 Eik Wall Lights they accepted the initial faulty light as a return and we eventually had 3 all of which were different Shades of Grey which is clearly unacceptable The lamp supports were not perpendicular to their bases so the lamp shades moved at peculiar angles and would not hold their positions within their normal operating range e g when lighting up a work top NORDLUX have failed to reply to successive emails asking if they are able to provide fully functioning replacements and since the additional issue of the different shades of grey has been raised there s been nothing but SILENCE from themThe single star for this review has been earned by the poor quality and attitude of Nordlux UK Eire Ltd who sadly pay more attention to the quality of their shipping materials than to their products

Nordlux Planned Obsolescence creating waste
I ve got 11 of the Nordlux Standard Plafond throughout our family home although recently the plastic clips holding the lamp shade in place have become very brittle resulting in them snapping whenever I remove the shade for cleaning However replacing the clips is as expensive as buying a brand new lamp As I ve now bought 3 new lamps only to strip them from clips I ve contacted Nordlux asking if I can buy a bulk of clips at a more reasonable price instead of buying new lamps only to strip them from the most inexpensive spare parts The answer from Nordlux was no Given that this is clearly a general problem with either design or quality I think this is an outrageous position to take encouraging needless waste in a day and age where most other companies are doing their utmost to manage their environmental footprint Furthermore this attitude is strongly contradicting the Nordlux company Manifesto and Values which is highlighted on your webpage Ridiculous

Nordlux changed the physical apereance
Nordlux changed the physical apereance of the Vejers outdoor lamp but remain using the same order number thats a problem when they deliver 2 different sized ligtnings with different sized shades the reply is that they changed suplyer and the ligths are clos enough to be considered the same

Nordlux Mono Exterior Spots
I have a London garden full of Nordlux Mono garden spot lights installed professionally 3 years ago Every single one and there must be around 20 of the metal support spikes have rotted off leaving the lights on their sides in the flower beds Nordlux have declined to deal with this issue when I complained via my lighting designer No replacement spikes are even available for purchase Very poor customer service and rather short sighted

We have 2 Nordlux Kettle 36 but one will not charge I can t find any help anywhere on how to obtain replacement bulb units Very disappointed

Untrustworthy
Untrustworthy I bought a standing lamp via Amazon It arrived okay but turned out not to be suitable for our purposes I had a return agreed and returned the item in its original packaging and condition I have proof of postage and proof of delivery yet no refund after over a month The company have not responded to contact by me or Amazon

Max 50 smart lights
We have in and around our house more then 50 Nordlux smart lights But in the app is only place for 50 smart lights Now we can t control our smart lights in our gardenroom Nordlux has no idea when there will be an update They don t have hurry because they know a few months about our problem

Bad Quality Light
Received an Arlington 150 back in January Didn t work and eventually got a refund through Barclaycard this was due to an issue with the supplier not Nordlux Decided to dismantle the light today to see if there was anything I could do When I got the ends off a miniature transformer fell out I will need to buy a new light soon but I know who won t be making it

I have several of your smartlights and
I have several of your smartlights and find your app to control and configure them absolutely useless The bluetooth communication seem totally random if works or not and there nothing intuitive about it Ubelivable poor product
