Great Value Even With Bugs

First I will tell you that I went with Nuvio because like many of us things are tight I had researched quite a few different options and many of the setups were very similar I was confident I was making the right choice It was advertised to be set up inside or out which I really wanted My first bug setting it up outside I live in Florida and set it up by my pool The water started at 86 degrees and after 8 hours had gotten down to about 68 I was disappointed but also thought it s almost 100 degrees out and it is in direct sunlight I drained it and moved it inside I turned it on and it cooled the water to 52 degrees in about 7 hours That was fine because I was planning on early morning plunges My second bug It kept the water at set temp about a week maybe 10 days then I started noticing temperature fluctuations that were fast The water felt warmer The first thing I did was clean the screen on the hose that flows into the plunger It was clogged and once clean worked fine again I clean it every week now Bug number 3 happened two weeks ago The sub pump died so I started looking at videos on youtube for help The pump was definitely fried but I did find a video about a guy who made his own cold plunger He was adamant about the pump being able to move 800 gallons of water per hour minimum I found one on Amazon for 20 bucks I put it in the water turned it on and the water cooled from 86 degrees to 50 degrees in about 3 hours I wasn t sure what size pump came with it but if you are having an issue with it not cooling quickly you may want to change the pump Hopefully this helps anyone having similar issues As I said for the price 599 for the plunger chiller and cover you can t beat it The other thing I really love and wanted to mention is the vertical plunger I started in my bathtub with bags of ice so I was planning on replacing the plunger that came with it for one more like a tub I did 8 plunges in my bathtub but once I got the vertical plunger I immediately noticed it was easier to breathe while plunging so that was another benefit I discovered I would not hesitate to recommend this product to any of my friends or family If I had to do it again I would still buy Nuvio It is everything I wanted and more Thank you Nuvio for a great product that did not cost me two to three thousand bucks A tremendous value and great customer service Thank you Matt for the personal touch Sincerely Dennis Bracco

Easier and Cheaper way to ice bath

I used for ice baths for over a year and it was too much hassle and too expensive This is so easy and is actually much cheaper
