Good information on how to design draft and decorate interior spaces Good on the how to set up a business in this field Trying to get help online felt impossible nobody seemed to want to help The teacher always tore me down but gave me an A but sometimes she would fail me yet only grade me on one room Very unorganized had to wait awhile for them to grade my work Too much money Aggravated

Excellent course to get started

The course in Interior Design exceeded my expectations It is an affordable course that provides you with the basic concepts in the field The assignments are a good way to practise and develop the contents The tutors provided good feedback and helpful advice and any time I had a question they responded Immediately I would recommend though to update the information and illustrations with current trends and introduce a Unit about new smart technologies

Great jumping off point

I found the course to be easy to navigate and great for the beginner I have applied many of the principles I learned in this course to my projects My only criticism is that the info was very superficial and not in depth But for the length of the course and the cost it was a great jumping off point for me

NYIAD - a great place to study

NYIAD proved to be great choice for my decision to become as wedding planner The material is extensive and the feedback from instructors useful and easy to follow I love the course and consider doing the event planning course as well to expand my future opportunities

I m enjoying my Home Staging class

I m enjoying my Home Staging class The fact that it s on line makes it possible for me I really like how I can call when I need help or have a question The student resource center is awesome and I don t have to wait long to get through I appreciate their patience with me I m a little rusty with getting back to school work plus I m not that tech savvy

NYIAD Home Staging Course

I love NYID s online course The only reason I m not giving it 5 stars is the video segments The person doing the videos is a TERRIBLE speaker She mumbles and she s incredibly boring and awkward Everything else is awesome

I am really enjoying this class

I am really enjoying this class They go into a lot of detail and break it down really nicely There is a lot of reading and I like the new update they made to the site It is easier to navigate now I wished I would have bought the paper book and I still might There are some spots where they are wanting you to follow along and without that paper book I don t know exactly what they are talking about I wished they would offer an audio version of the class also But overall this is a great learning experience for me and worth the time I ve spent on my class

Would be great if CAD lessons can be

Would be great if CAD lessons can be integrated into this course instead of separately since CAD is already a standard in the ID industry Also best to have all projects uploaded or use an online tool since sending by post is prone to losses and can be expensive on the part of international students Lastly I wasn t very happy with the quality of audio feedback given by my previous instructor Anne Harris I had to play the feedback several times to understand what she was saying possibly due to slurred speech or poor recording The audio recording of Janet s feedback was much much better

Satisfied designer

I am a practicing unlicensed interior designer technically decorator and wanted to up my credentials and knowledge I m at a point in my career where going back to school would be a waste of time and money I did learn some good practices with the interior design program but found the methods to be a little archaic waiting for the mailed materials and the audio feedback In the end I would say I got what I paid for and am satisfied
