Paro wasted our time and resources and

Paro wasted our time and resources and were of no assistance The business they recommended was unable to deliver results and failed to hold their end of the agreement which led to a refund Stay clear of Paro and the companies they work with Buyer beware

I agree with most all other reviews They sub the work out to professionals Sadly they are very far from professional Tried It for several months and then canceled They drop communication instantly Charged me for the rest of the month but did nothing and refused to help Now months later they are still trying to bill us Very very disappointed

I signed up for help with accounting

I signed up for help with accounting for my small business After seeing the invoices for a few months that were very large for tiny amounts of work I decided to cancel I continued to be charged for two additional months after canceling There is no way for me to prevent them from pulling funds from my bank account or to delete my account Terrible customer service and an overprices product Just call a local accountant rather than use this

I wouldn t recommend this organization to anyone

I would not work with Paro as the accounting talent or the business They only care about making 50 or more on your hourly rate while providing no support for their talent I have an active contract through 8 31 23 today Paro took it upon themselves to end the engagement because Renee doesn t have time has 70 other clients to worry about Both the client Paro agreed my work was satisfactory For the past month Paro allowed the client to cut my project short 30 days then 45 days without my consent despite our signed contract going to 8 31 Over the past 30 days Paro has strained the relationship between myself the client Instead of figuring out a solution for both parties Renee without the consent of the client or myself illegally ended the engagement

I would steer clear of Paro

I would steer clear of Paro They didn t deliver services wouldn t file our corporate taxes on time charged us for services not rendered We contested our invoice with them multiple times with multiple parties and instead of acknowledging that we need to have a conversation just charged us anyway We are now having our books from 2022 audited and are discussing filing a law suite with our legal team as well as pursuing accounting malpractice

Absolutely horrendous experience

Absolutely horrendous experience If you re a small business owner I would not use their services The communication greatly lacked The work that we agreed they would do never got done They charged 2000 a month to do bookeeping that can be done for around 300-500 a month It was definitely a traumatic experience for our business

This company needs to improve the The way it operates in general

This company needs to improve the process on how paro contracts bid for the jobs The account manager need to update the status of job openings in a more timely cadence There also needs to be more of an explanation why a paro contractor didn t win the bid versus the auto generated email that makes no sense This is one of the worst freelance accounting companies I ve worked for and wouldn t recommend future potential paro contractors to come work for this company

Rubbish company

Rubbish company I set up a profile with them and interviewed with one of their clients for a role They 1 didn t get back to me and 2 take 50 of the rate they quote to the client which is just insanely high I ve worked with 2 other contracting freelance firms now and the process has been a lot more seamless and much more lucrative Another thing that is just super odd is that they sit in on your interview with the client which has literally never been the case for any other similar roles I ve had

Once you re sold good luck ending it

We started out working with Paro and really enjoyed the process they took us through to find someone We agreed to work with a CFO and after only 2 weeks we decided to part ways due to scheduling conflicts and other things But Paro is still charging us 9 000 month after they saw that we parted ways Trying to cancel with them they told us it has to be 60 days in advance but this whole process has only been 45 days And the CFO agreed to part ways We get no response from support and a company of this size shouldnt be in the business of hurting small businesses

My books are more confusing than when we started Past years that were reconciled and filed were adjusted so my tax returns dont add up Has cost me 5x what originally anticipated
