Not great

Not great I ve done a bachelors and a masters here and have seen good and bad at the school Had a great advisor for the undergrad but haven t heard anything from either of the two advisors I ve had for the masters program The teachers for the most part interact minimally with students and provide next to zero instruction They mostly just grade assignments and should you fulfill all the requirements of the rubric but somehow it wasn t what the teacher wanted you ll wind up with a bad grade The papers are a waste of time and the student would be better served with just an online exam rather than time-wasting assignments

No Longer Interested

The school concept is not fitting for my work life balance I simply cannot get the concept of all assignments are due on a Monday at 12 59AM due to my time zone being CST If assignments are submitted on Sunday-Monday they are considered late and or points are taking off A 0 can be issued automatically by the school I am paying for my education and don t feel as though this program is set up for learning The instructors aren t teaching the students are expected to read and learn Unfortunately this doesn t work for me

Financial aid services is not being

Financial aid services is not being helpful in a timely manner I have not been notified when documents are being rejected My documents are not being uploaded in a timely and then when I upload documents I m being told that I never uploaded the correct one when I know what I had uploaded I m not satisfied with the overall help from the financial aid department I m constantly asking what forms are needed or approved and at the last minute there s always a new document needed which has delayed my grant and I would of never known about the document needed if I didn t ask and go through an e tire process

Good until you need help with a teacher

I completed my BSB and MBA here I had a great experience the whole time UNTIL my very last class The teacher was so awful and graded so unfairly He refused to provide explanations for his grades when asked instead reporting me to the school for defiance When I asked to open a review for grades the school said the teacher was being fair It was such an awful experience and I felt zero support from UoP I had plans to continue on for a PhD with UoP but after this experience I will not be

Poor information and communication

I have been given false and partial information about my program s expectations and as I have been trying to seek clarification and help I am just getting passed around because we work as a team My life is on hold because of the way this effects my job my family and the various parts of my education Not only am I daily trying to adjust my life to I m unknown standard but I am loosing money and not being allowed to continue my program I cannot get a member of staff to respond to me consistently or to answer my questions I don t feel the staff have all the information or have been appropriately trained on how to advise students

It would be nice that the financial aid

It would be nice that the financial aid office discloses they will take the loans you get from fasfa and they will allocate them to future classes I was waiting on the disbursement for a laptop and funds for a home since I m homeless and the disbursement went to classes I haven t even started yet It s frustrating that you did not mention that otherwise I would have chosen a cheaper school
