Poor Fax Quality and the Ability to Cancel
Fax quality and ability to cancel Their faxes are extremely grainy and the receiver cannot read on their end And most importantly the only way to cancel is to call them I got a guy that opened a Ticket to have someone from Customer Service call me back and discuss my cancelation Good grief They should have a Cancelation option on their system and not make this so difficult They said someone would call me back within two days Holy moly I doubt they will and I will probably need to cancel via my credit card company like other reviewers And if they do call I am sure they will try their best to talk me out of canceling my account I just want to CANCEL

I purchased a Voip business line 2 weeks ago I have recieved calls on the line and just purchased business cards with the number on them 2 weeks later I get an email saying my account has been suspended because of suspected fraudulent activity I called customer service They said they cannot clear the issue or disclose what was fraudulent My business is REGISTERED with the secretary of state They also should not have waited 2 WEEKS after I paid for my service and used it to end my contract

The company charges a 200 hold fee up front to make international calls so if you have a VA you need to pay this I stopped using the service about 5 months ago and when my 200 was depleted they continued to charge my CC for additional months I asked if they could return the last charge and they refused and said the cancellation request must be made 15 days prior to your next invoice which is a shady way of scamming you out of at least one additional month of service I have dealt with many other companies who refund payments for honest mistakes or services not actually used Phone com acts as if the 15 day rule is not subjective and can t be changed I will never use this company again and I would recommend you find an alternative company for your needs if you are considering using them

It used to be good now it s a broken mess
It used to be good Now when something actually rings through the call shows on the log of the other number the one it didn t ring to I have notifications set up for text and email They come hours late and multiple times I ve worked on some of these issues with customer service for weeks Today even the customer service chat is showing everything typed in twice They told me to call phone support and that kicks me out saying I requested a callback instead of hold which I did not do I give up

Suspend my account for no real reason and refuse to give refund
My experience suggest that you should avoid them I register for their online fax service with 2 fax number and a year of payment One day after that my account got suspended because of fraudulent activity by doing almost nothing I called customer service and their answer is the suspension will remain and will not disclose the reason After sometime I call them again request for my refund they said they will not issue any refund or offer any service It s free money for them at this point

Do not use this company I paid for a year in advance and everything was good until about 8 months in when i receive micro charges on my account I disputed these with my bank which they are still looking into Since I filed a claim on these charges Phone com proceeded to cancel my phone service within 3 days of this with no compensation to my 4 remaining months I filed a dispute with my credit card company for these charges but unfortunately too much time has passed and i am unable to get any of my money back i will never work with these guys again and i had multiple numbers for my business thru them if you dont listen to me at a minimum DO NOT pay in advance

Don t Use to Conduct a a Business you will lose customers
Anyone considering phone com as their voip provider needs to look elsewhere I have been a customer for over 4 years and they completely turned off my ability to text people who have reached out to me They claim it s due to Federal Regulations but the regulations were never meant as a roadblock to a company that does not engage in sms marketing My customers who have found me online and have decided themselves to use sms rather than a phone call are completely blocked from receiving a reply I had many conversations with phone com customer service agents but it didn t change anything Now I have customers upset that they are not receiving replies but my hands are tied Besides the above problem at least half the time it takes repeated dialing to call someone The first few times is just silence I ve even had to use my personal line because it s gotten so bad Overall there just have been many other issues along the way which I ve tried to overlook Now I m going elsewhere to someone who wants my business

Phone com is not for the professional business Spotty and static phone service makes you look very unprofessional when you use their service I used one of the vanity numbers paid top dollar and never worked right When I canceled I told them I want my money back for the wasted time and the time I haven t used yet and they refused So now I have to get the Mad Men involved for the principle of the matter
