Absolutely dreadful product since some

Absolutely dreadful product since some update got installed and their introduction of 2-step authentication earlier this month I just got a support email saying that Pleo doesn t recognise FREE email APs i e Gmail aparently it thinks Outlook is free also - oi beg to differ as it is not a free AP from Microsoft and i can t two-factor authenticate with that email application either The support person hasn t a clue and we are going to cancel if we don t get this sorted if i charged by the hour the time it has taken to try to resolve this this last week We can t buy anything using Pleo now online as it asks for you to log into the Pleo Ap to confirm your purchase Can t book a hotel can t buy goods - nightmare Something has gone wrong with this and it seems to be since they did a software update last week

Not impressed with this company

Not impressed with this company I wanted to close my account due to the 45 00 monthly fee We needed a prepaid credit card for one of my staff to use Fees just suddenly appeared I tried emailing but there was no response I tried using the Close Account option online within the portal but it doesn t work I tried chat to us which also doesn t work Generally this company needs to get its act together and I either start responding to their customers or close their doors Don t ignore valuable customers

5 hours for funds transferred to appear

5 hours for funds transferred to appear and ready to use on account email gets an automated response and no hope of speaking to anyone This is the third time that money has not arrived onto the account when it should It is usually within a few minutes but when it goes wrong their customer service is appealing and you just get an automated reply asking you to send in another email if the FAQ s don t give you an answer Awful

500 fraud slow to respond

Had over 500 come out of our account all to Shopify as fraud Over 55 transactions no notification came through from Pleo and they didn t stop a single transaction fraud only stopped once account had been emptied No phone number took over 48 hours to get a response and that was then forwarded to fraud team who took over 7 days to get back and start refunding the charges

It is time to say goodbye to Pleo

Bye Pleo We have been customers since 2020 and it was a great solution Something has changed now we are seeing our company cards get hacked all the time - long overdue and after a lot of communication we get our money back that is fine But the hassle of adding all our software to a new card and the late fees from vendors is now too much We need to find a solution where we dont get hacked

Poor back office finance functionality

Pleo functionality is great from an employee user perspective but the back office finance links are absolutely appalling Our export functionality to Xero is regularly out of action transactions reflect inaccurately the finance team are not able to lock previous months so we often find backdated transactions for out of pocket claims making a mess of our bank reconciliations The finance team have to waste days each month reconciling a tool that should just work and make their lives easier but this is not the case

Updating from a 1-start to 3 star as the team resolved the issue promptly and the customer service albeit via email ended up being pretty good

Nice idea but pretty poorly

Nice idea but pretty poorly implemented Both mobile app and web app have some bugs - eg when you submit a mileage claim an alert tells you the entry is missing a receipt Taking photo s of receipts is great but transferring receipts from web pages or emails isn t straightforward I can t make the fetch process work The process for presenting a claim for approval needs work I keep receiving queries for claims which I haven t finished entering

Great for user not so clear for admin

Think the app is great if you re just a user but for admin it s not clear or easy to view purchases which have queries with receipts etc They seem to disappear

Pleo is very practical and flexible

Pleo is very practical The app is easy to use The helpdesk is very helpfull and can be reached easily Feedback is taken serious I would recommend it
