I understand that this organism was created to avoid abuse not to encourage the parking owners to do more In my case staying in a parking lot for 7 minutes instead of 5 minutes who decides that time is 5 minutes or 6 or 7 and how 50-space parking is a small one if nothing is written on the parking panels There is no time limit to enter to look for a parking space If you can t find a parking space or don t feel safe you have to pay for having to enter the parking lot And POPLA decided that 5 minutes is enough to get in and out in a very heavy rain I repeat without any inscription on the parking signs about the time allotted for the search The professionalism and the law respect are badly broken by the POPLA It s a shame for this name

Waited beyond their review time Chased and was told they had a backlog I then had my appeal declined despite the car parks being incorrectly marked on RingGo and having already paid a parking fee So they can be slow the parking firm can incorrectly mark their car parks with their payment partner and I get to pay 100 Amazingly one of the grounds for the appeal being declined was that the only source of income for the parking operator is PCN

A Waste of Time and Effort
If I had read reviews on Trust Pilot before engaging with POPLA I would not have wasted my time The time taken was far more than the time that was initially advised which is unsatisfactory The result of my appeal was unsuccessful but the reasoning behind the result was extremely flawed and naturally enough in favour of the parking company The completely inadequate and unclear signage was deemed clear and adequate It was clear in that I could see it but that is where its clarity ended If it had been clear and unambiguous then I would have parked elsewhere and saved myself the grief Read Trust Pilot reviews on POPLA before wasting your time

Don t waste your time
A total waste of time I think they are in bed with the parking companies to take it over the discount period I was told before hand I would only be wasting my time - and money If you are reading this you probably have already wasted your time I cannot understand why organisations like this are allowed to exist They should be shut down

I wish I could give negative stars
I wish I could give negative stars My experience with Popla was disappointing The appeal process was unhelpful and felt like a complete waste of time Despite providing all necessary evidence the outcome seemed predetermined offering little to no real support I wouldn t rely on them for a fair resolution

A complete joke
Genuinely such a waste of time and effort because the outcome always falls on the side of the egregerious parking companies POPLA is not indepeendent as it is funded by the BPA They were uttely unitersted in my very clear mitigation - it was a forgone conclusion To be fair I always knew this but it is a step to seeing UKPC in court

Parked in a hotel car park for five
Parked in a hotel car park for five days cost of 20 reception told me where the payment machine was they never said anything about registering in the hotel too Which means my parking was void I received two parking fines not five After appealing squashed one of them but not the other I that went to popla which was a complete waste of time I should have just took the rip off and paid the fine at the reduced rate Thanks for nothing popla A review reply would be most welcome like you do for the 5 star post

A total waste of time and effort
A total waste of time and energy I had to wait over three months to get a reply and hear that my appeal had failed anyway Why ever didn t I think this would happen before wasting my time - and money I had to pay the full 100 fine anyway instead of 60 I should have realised they would never consider my mitigating circumstances favourably I cannot understand why organisations like this are allowed to exist They should be shut down Utterly appalled

Ripped off again
You call yourselves independent when you clearly just take the dishonest view of the parking operators If you had bothered to look into my personal claim properly you would have clearly seen It was impossible to park my car as there was no spaces so how on earth could I get a parking ticket if I had nowhere to park utterly ridiculous and lets be honest it does not take Einstein to work that out You clearly favour the parking companies and not the ripped off working man who always seems to get stung by these money making companies wake up and smell the coffee If it was possible to give no stars I would have

Absolutely appalling Paid fee gave evidence Unfortunately your evidence it would appear in the pouring rain my husband put his car registration instead of mine into the machine If you look at a camera you must know his car didn t enter Utter waste of time Not being able to speak to a human being Money making racket Now taking up with Martin Lewis
