I appealed against a Smart Parking ticket through POPLA on 23 06 and received an email on 24 06 at 1100 stating that my appeal was successful The email stated they contacted Smart Parking and they didn t want to contest my appeal so it defaulted Not saying this is always going to be the case but wanted to share a success story

Had an unfair parking charge from ocean parking After my appeal wasn t granted I then went through POPLA this was an easy process and then I had to wait 21 day for ocean parking to submit there evidence to which they didn t and POPLA wasted no time to grant my appeal Definitely recommend especially when it s 100 unfair parking charge I e no signs in place private parking company don t have correct procedures working machines in place etc Thank you again hopefully I won t need to use POPLA again but if I do I will definitely go through them Saved 100

Success

I just wanted to say that POPLA did listen to my parking issue and saw the EURO CARS had incorrectly charged us for 16 seconds over the 10 min grace period We had a broken down vehicle and there was no where to move the van onto a busy highway

Not as bad as people make out

My appeal was refused which isnt the best noone will be happy about that but my teview is based on the staff The peoole I spoke to in the meantime were helpful friendly and it helps that they are local Spoke with a pleasant Liverpudlian lady who was very informative about the process I cant knock the staff just upset as I have to pay 100 now

PCN by Gemini Parking Solutions

I was issued a PCN from the operator Gemini Parking Solutions since I used a visitor parking in a private land while visiting a friend I couldn t see any signs as it was dark and assumed the space called visitor parking was fine to use I was issued a PCN of 100 I appealed against the operator and it was rejected so I opened a case with POPLA providing some points based on how signage was not appropriately visible and few other things The operator provided a reply within the 21 days but the evidences were not sufficient for the assessor to consider the PCN correctly issued hence my appeal was successful Always try to appeal if you think you have the right as POPLA is operating according to the evidences provided on both sides

One of the few who have a positive experience

Appear to be one of the few who have had a positive experience with POPLA I submitted a cogent appeal against a ParkingEye PCN containing a number of legitimate discrepancies - PCN not issued correctly meaning PoFA did not apply- Missing signage which was later corrected which i had photographic evidence of both- Un-enforceable terms being placed on parking restrictionsThe decision was reached reasonably promptly considering the Christmas period and in my favour ParkingEye appeared to do everything they could to mislead the appeal process including providing demonstrably false information and predictably redacted land-owner agreement with regard to grace periods POPLA however accepted one part of my appeal making the rest of it irrelevant

Amazing service - I appealed a ticket I received at ASDA and have been successful I knew I spent more than enough to qualify for free parking however I did not notice the machines at the time

Do not use this service hopeless they tell you they will get back to you rubbish they don t they say they will help they don t They side with the car park I had a ticket in clevedon salt house car park there were no signs where I parked Premier park I sent email to popla now I have a debt recovery letter now 170 00 I will write to every tv program Do not use popla waste of effort I have over 60 emails You re reply is not a surprise full of empty promises and leading emails absolutely full of I advise any one and every one - - do not use popla it s a rip off and total waist of time if I could load up all emails correspondence this would be seen by all No body from popla reply s to emails I ve sent so so many to popla staff un helpful computer says no answers
