this food is frozen I didnot expect including strawberry and banana made a mistake ordering

I was really disappointed in the majority of the meals due to how dry hard they became whilst cooking With the exception of the mousakka which was just lovely if slightly undercooked using the suggested time - all the meals dried out or became overcooked even when I followed the absolute minimum of the suggested cooking times Most of the suggested cooking times can vary by as much as a minute in the microwave so there s huge room for error Some were hard and overcooked even on the minimum time The chicken tikka had no microwave option and have to be cooked in the oven for 55 minutes but when we removed it at this time the chicken was still cold in the middle That s a disaster waiting to happen We then have to microwave it to make sure it was properly heated through I can tell the food would be tasty if it were able to be reheated properly but the cooking times totally let it down Also I would assume that there is not enough moisture in the dishes to begin with as they are completely dried out even on minimum cooking time All the just completely disappeared The cottage pie mince had actually gone hard and was inedible which is really disappointing considering how much you are charging I feel that this is something that should have been fine tuned prior to bringing these products to market as the price point is very high for this kind of product and the quality of ingredients that we are paying more for is lost in the cooking process I ve spent over 70 on very sub standard food so I m very disappointed On the plus side the delivery process was excellent with all products arriving still well frozen due to the quality packaging I can t comment on the customer service yet as they haven t replied to my email but I ll update whenI get a response Updated to say Pow did reach out and offered a full refund or replacement meals which was generous At this stage I went for the refund but I would try again in the future once the timing issues are resolved

The food was great but unfortunately the teriyaki salmon had a hole in and had defrosted and leaked everywhere Furthermore the fish curry had no prawns in - this was the case for both of them so the quality control is poor I expect more given the price point Shame because the flavours are wonderful

I really liked the ethos of this company using organic and locally sourced ingredients I was particularly impressed about the sustainability of the meals Instead of using plastic tubs like the typical ready meals from the supermarkets they used compostable cardboard tubs I liked the whole grains such as quinoa for the entrees instead of white rice so it s much healthier The vegetarian parmigiana was excellent tasting and of the highest quality On the minus side I personally found the spicier options like the Chicken Satay too spicy hot and I couldn t finish the Tempeh meal even with my adding greek yogurt which is the typical thing to do to turn the spiciness down This level of spicy hotness would be of concern for those with ulcers or esophageal reflux Might there be a way to make the meals mild but add a spice packet for those who like it spicier Also POW states all meals are low salt which is a big health concern However at least the Mushroom Stroganoff was too salty Perhaps it would be better to put in less soy sauce salt and let people add their own to taste Even more variety in types of entrees would be welcome Would it be possible to use some whole grain pasta or Thai Chinese Japanese entrees or Korma as possibilities

Good food but service is inconsistent Healthy food that tastes pretty good for diet food however service was inconsistent They did not respond to emails immediately and had to call a few times In the end they did their best to help but inconsistent service

So delicious My family and I wanted to try some no thought required healthy yet mouthwatering premade meals to start getting weekly and we found POW through a good friend Even though we got it to enjoy in our home when I realised they did cooperate catering as well it made me want to reach out to any friends and family that were looking for such a company and share their website and business plans Definitely the 1 business if you re looking for chef quality meals but also macronutrients Carefully designed by nutritionists Thank you POW

Got my order yesterday this food is fantastic really nice portions and very tasty This is perfect for me instead of ordering a fairly unhealthy take away delivery at usually 20 I m now into the freezer for super fresh healthy option Cheers POW I will be back for more BTW I really like the soups too

I ve had a few POW meals now and I have to say I am really impressed Working long hours or coming back late from the gym I want something quick and healthy and POW fits the bill perfectly Knowing that I can have a delicious homemade tasting meal that is healthy and ethically sourced is perfect it s also great value for money Having these in your freezer is a lifeline The range of meals is great and has you covered whether you are vegan vege pescy etc Even down to the smallest detail like fully recyclable packaging and wool insulation the meals are brilliant and I d 100 recommend

Ive now enjoyed a few of the POW meals all were delicious They taste like they ve been home made I got a real sense the food had been individually and thoughtfully prepared Delivered food can taste good but I nearly always have have the pervading feeling I am eating junk With POW meals you feel you are eating nutritious good for you food that honestly tastes as good probably better than anything I have had that has been delivered - which is saying something because Ive eaten a lot of delivered food during Covid

The best ready meals I have ever tried and mind me I have tried almost everything out there The meals are so delicious it tastes as if it was handmade by myself at home so fresh so tasty and they are super nutritious They are also so convenient I just keep them in freezer and I can get one ready to eat in less than 40 minutes while I do other chores at home - perfect for busy people who don t have the time to shop prep and cook meals daily Totally recommend
