Call to renewal asap otherwise you have to pay more per month and they don t get back to you quick enough

I emailed to ask about getting a renewal quote took weeks before I heard back and in the email were told to call back tried calling but couldn t get through eventually I came back and called but was told the offer expired d and I have to pay 3 more per month to continue her policy

I ve recently was switched from PDSA to Purely Pets automatically Never made a claim before but my dog had an accident recently an had to have x-rays done under an anaesthetic The bill cost 500 and I paid out first before putting the claim in I was told 4-6 weeks after they got all the information for the claim that I would get my money back that was in October and I am still waiting I could really do with that money seeing as though it s nearly Christmas but they are not hurrying themselves Won t be renewing with this company again

Disappointing

My dog got cancer totally unexpectedly earlier this year I submitted a claim in June despite having sent numerous emails pieces of evidence past medical history etc still no update it s now October My claim was even closed without warning which took a lot of me chasing to have it reopened Really disappointing

trying to claim is not easy i lost my

trying to claim is not easy i lost my dog on the 22 november full insurance it is now 29th january they are very reluctant to help and pay when you ring they will tell you this has been passed to a independent assessor so the company seem to have a good way of stalling and the sheer amount of confusion is worrying

2 months to settle a claim disgusting

Just had my renewal through a 50 increase now over 1700 a year for our dog And I ve been told it takes up to 30 working days more if there are bank holidays to settle claims So our vet submitted the claim on the 14th December and we may not get paid until the 30th January A very PAW service A friend is with PetPlan treatment for his dog was on the 7th Dec paid out on the 12th Dec Unfortunately due to an existing condition we don t have the luxury of moving to another company So it s now the 6th February and we still haven t been paid the vets fees I ve just been told it may take another 7 days that s two months after the claim was submitted by our vets

Excessive increase in price and poor customer service

Got my renewal through today and it is 40 higher than last year apparently the reason given is my dog is now considered much older because it has turned three It took 20 mins for someone to answer my call and when Ryan eventually spoke to me he said the system was being slow and he would call me back but that it wouldn t take long Four hours later I had to call them back only to be spoken to another agent who just spoke off prompt cards Awful customer service experience

Details of dog breed are wrong on my policy Address is not 58 58 Abbotswell Crescent and phone number is definitely not 01000000000 I ve twice tried to contact regarding this but not heard anything back Policy does not start until 25 11 23 So I m hoping to hear back and get this sorted soon before it actually commences

Late response

Had to have my cat put to sleep due to illness put in my claim nearly 4weeks ago and keep getting texts to say my claim is being dealt with but I m still waiting when my dog had an operation at the vets his insurance company paid out within a week of claiming not very happy with this company and wouldn t advise to take on

4 weeks on from putting my first claim in and I ve still not heard anything I have chased 3 times and still nothing If you need the money quickly this is not the company to insure your pet with Very disappointed

No credit for loyalty

Appalling that after many years with company my premium has been doubled this year to over 100 pm I have only ever made one small claim so how is this justified No negotiation at all They have you over a barrel as my dog is now 12 so I wont get insurance anywhere else No credit given for loyalty Would not recommend
