I had my renewal email come through from Purely Pets and when I tried to call them to discuss the policy the number is invalid and wouldn t connect using any options on the phone I then realised my payments were being taken out by LV insurance rang them and they administer the pet policy for Purely Pets Why if they now manage the policy is there no documentation sent to customers advising of this It made the whole experience more difficult than it needed to be

The actual insurance policy is good but I received the renewal this week and the policy had gone up by 20 for the next year I checked MoneySuperMarket com to make sure it was still value and found the exact same policy with the same cover by the same insurer 110 cheaper This is ridiculous and you are taking advantage of customers that will just renew automatically This whole industry needs a revamp of their structures and pricing

Price quoted for pet insurance on the comparison sites compare the market was not the price given on the website then you clicked through to it and the price given on their own website was inconsistent with every refresh generating a completely different price I just repeatedly tried until I got the lowest possible even though it was still higher than the price quoted on the comparison site

Visited online via a comparison site Chose purely pets as a very competitive insurance and proceeded to site to complete details Checked out but monthly option was not available Rang customer services who were very helpful but the actual monthly cost had increased by 40p CS were unable to explain why which is why I have only given 3stars

Been with purely pets for the past few years even though my dog has had back surgery two years ago no problem with it since He has had a few other claims put through the past year but nothing major The insurance has jumped from 80pm first year to 160pm last year now renewal in for this year was 310pmI informed them that his neutered status wasn t correct that he had been neutered 2 years ago someone hadnt updated so because of this they decided to add an extra 35pm for the privilege taking it to 345 99 payments plus my 20 co payment which has been in place past few years due to pets age which i totally understand Its no wonder that people can t afford to insure there dogs never mind keeping them

Was alright now it s bugging me you won t leave me alone you like a itch in the root of your ass you can t get real it go away

Received my insurance renewal from Purely Pets price had increased by 80 per year despite being with them for two years and no claims Checked online for alternative insurance and discovered an identical policy 100 less than my quote - ironically with Purely Pets Spoke to Purely Pets who informed me they couldn t price match renewal quotes So guess what I had to cancel my current policy and set up new one online saving 100 a year as online quote was even cheaper than last year s policy Bizarre

After originally giving a very dissatisfied review with regards to the service I received I m now upgrading to 3 stars for the following reasons After posting my honest review I had contact from the company within 24 hours My claim was upgraded to priority by the managing director which put the timeline back to nearly what I was oringally told when I informed them of the claim Its was all processed and monies received within 5 working days of the managing directors involvement Having never in my life having to make an insurance claim on any insurance product and never submitting a review for anything other than ebay purchases before what was begining to be a dragged out nightmare was resolved promptly the company obviously monitors reviews and does have customers satisfaction somewhere high up in there company ethics I would now consider using this company again for my next dog insurance its just a shame I had to be negative towards them to get my voice heard And thank you to their MD

Never made a claim so can t comment on this aspect of their service my issue is with renewal price and customer service our 2 year dogs premium went up by 55 year on year we have never made a claim and it s a young dog I emailed asking for an explanation and improved price after 8 working days and no reply I called customer services I was told they would not match the price I had got elsewhere which was a 20 increase and on a like for like basis So I was forced to take the other offer 35 cheaper Very poor attention to customer loyalty

I currently have insurance for my dog who has been diagnosed with a life long illness My first claim took some time to be settled which I expected due to the information which had to be reviewed past history etc However since then all ongoing claims are taking 5-6 weeks to be settled My emails if answered have taken weeks for a response others are not replied to I have just completed the process of an online complaint however upon submitting the page helpfully said page not found I have four outstanding invoices to be settled now it s getting a joke I can t pay my household bills until I get some money reimbursed I d recommend this company but only if you can afford to be waiting for ages to get money back
