Buying is good repair is hell

Buying a PC was a good experience but should something go wrong with your hardware you are so screwed Their repairs department has my PC for 6 weeks I had to get the owner for email updates because I couldn t afford to wait 30 minutes to speak to someone each time I call I don t trust the updates I receive and I am starting to consider legal options to get my PC back and my warrantee actioned Don t be in the same boat as me It s hell

RGB lights not on the same controller

RGB lights not on the same controller Case fans CPU and radiator fans are different colors I reached out to support and they suggested I try a few apps This should ve been already setup when the PC arrived

Ordered a laptop having problems not getting the neccessary support

Ordered a laptop Works as it should but I can t connect to other screens Got in contact with Redux first they were trying to be helpful After sending requested screenshots of my screen settings I have no longer receiver response Also I am being ignored If i knew this before I would have ordered my laptop at a webshop owned by a company who care about their customers Other products of mine will not be ordered here

Decent shop with some complications

My experience with this shop is mediocre to decent I have ordered an Asus monitor at this shop Unfortunately it took them roughly 3 weeks to deliver the monitor After roughly two weeks I asked them about my delivery Then things suddenly went fast Sadly the monitor came with some issues The advertised FreeSync feature was unusable due to flickering - which is not uncommon for VA panels but here it was too extreme Since I knew that some panels can be fixed by a firmware update I asked the shop and Asus for a fix Asus replied extremely fast and offered me a replacement right away The new monitor suffered from the same problem in fact it was even worse and I contacted Asus once again After two other replacements Asus offered me a refund As the refund was processed they told me that I have to contact the shop in order to get my money back They then get the money back from Asus I found this extremely weird since the inquiry was made with Asus and not the shop But I followed their instructions at hand Of course the shop was also very surprised about this which has led to a lot of miscommunication among all three parties Finally the shop was able to solve the problem for me and now processed the refund This was a pure roller-coaster trip I am glad the shop could manage it If someone is to blame here it is probably Asus Of course the miscommunication between the shop and me could have been prevented but in the end we are all human beings I am just happy that the shop and I finally came to an agreement

Payment and Shipping

Bancontact Paypal Belfius App doesnt work on the website Needed to pay manual transfer and also have to wait till they receive the payment I ordered on this website because my product was in stock and should have been delivered the day after They made now for 2 days a label to send my order but it still not has left their warehouse A online website should have their online payment options working so we dont need to pay by manual transfer Also they promise you if order is payed before 16pm they ship your order the day itself they should keep their word

Honest review of Build Redux

I used build redux in order to get into gaming on PC s Due to part shortages and not being able to find most parts you would need in order to build your own without paying an arm and a leg and sacrificing your first born child these days due to supply chain interruptions etc The site had a disclaimer that due to Covid-19 backlogs builds were taking about 4-5 weeks to be completed and shipped out They definitely nailed that on the head as i got mine on exactly the 35th day of waiting The Pros PC is a beast Cable management is very good for a prebuilt PC fired up no problem and everything has been good with it in the first week so far It came with windows installed and all the correct drivers for the GPU The Cons Communication is horrible I originally ordered a RTX 2060 GPU but they ran out before starting my build They did not reach out to me about this and had i not emailed them inquiring as to the status of my build i would of been waiting two or more months until they would get new ones in They offered me a quick fix by either downgrading to the 1660 and they would refund me the difference or upgrade to the 3060 Ti and pay the difference I chose the upgrade path and the build was finished 10 days later One suggestion i have for them is on your account page on their website there is a order notes section I would hope they would learn to use this to keep customers updated on the status of their build in the future It would probably save the one guy working in customer service a lot of headache and communications via twitter instagram and e-mails they receive on the daily looking for updates Another suggestion is to keep open communication with customers when problems arise Like my GPU situation Reach out to the customer let them know of the shortage give an estimated date of when new product would arrive and how much longer one should expect to wait and if a customer is not happy provide them with options of either upgrading or downgrading They are a new company having just opened business in November of 2020 I get that there are gonna be learning curves for them as a company and i hope they iron them out Their builds are nicely done and it would be a shame to see them fall out because of bad customer service practices The only thing keeping them from a 5 star review was the lack of communication on their end That is my review and i am sticking to it

Gaming PC

Bought 2x a130 PC s for my boys and this is my experience 1 Online purchase very smooth website is great all very clear and made for a good and seamless purchase 2 Delivery in a couple of days and all was nice packed Very fast and secure 3 PC s are plug and play got each PC up and running within minutes Clear instructions 4 Issues One PC had a few loose screws on the back which made a rattling sound when the fan got going Worked out pretty quickly what the issue was and resolved Secondly the activation code for Windows on one PC didn t work Was resolved in a couple of days not a major issue but caused bit of extra back and forth to sort it out 5 I would definitely buy from Redux gaming again Hope they offer an upgrade service in the future because I would certainly be one to utilise that

Item delayed but they solved it eventually

Ordered a case that was supposed to arrive within 48hs the build was time critical as it was for a gift I wrote an email almost immediately when I saw that I wouldn t get the case in time They did not answer The next week I wrote another email that they still have not answered I had to call them to get them to start an investigation with DHL about what happened and they ended up sending me a second case The whole experience could have been better but in the end they solved my problem and their prices are competitive

PC did not work upon arrival after waiting 1 month

UPDATE Redux gaming fully refunded my order and offered compensation for the challenges I faced with my order Although I do not have a computer I think they did a good job solving the issue Ordered the PC and waited a month for it to arrive Upon delivery the computer was not working there was a major hardware issue with the GPU Called the customer service line and they were helpful but told me I had to bring my computer to them for it to be fixed quickly so I drove from Amsterdam to Maastricht for them to fix the computer which I had never used as it didnt work upon delivery Thankfully they fixed the computer by replacing the faulty GPU and the computer was working fine for a week when it worked the computer was amazing Then the same happened - some kind of critical hardware issue with the GPU I called and this is where it all started to go downhill Firstly I feel as a company you should do more to show understanding and support when things go wrong I was a very easy and flexible customer even driving to Maastricht when the company should of delivered a working PC from the beginning I was told by the Customer service agent that it was my own choice to go to Maastricht certainly was not my choice i am not the one sending faulty PCs to customers This is also possibly the worst thing to tell a customer that is complaining that it is their fault some major investment on customer service skills needed there Anyway I was patient and the agent said he could get the PC picked up the same day for them to look at - I highly appreciated this Sadly no one ever came to pick up the PC The next day the PC was picked up at 6pm meaning 2 days had passed since I was promised the same day pick up Once it was finally taken the package was lost until the Tuesday the next week This is when I gave up and asked for the full refund I must say I feel as a company you could do so much better if you would look into your processes and partner companies For example why do you work with a delivery partner that has no customer service center to call As a company you are also responsible for using good partners DHL would of been a much better option for example Why don t you provide a 50EUR voucher to someone who drove to Maastricht to solve your issue When I called you why dont you train your personnel to show understanding offer us something such as a Redux gaming voucher keeps the revenue in the business to show appreciation and apologize for the major faults that you had These are small costs to you that could save you from loosing a customer entirely Customers are willing to be flexible and forgive but its a two way street and I think at every step Redux failed to use initative and service skills to keep the customer me on their side I wish you guys good luck with your company - be self critical and look at your operations
