Service not as good as I I d hoped

The card terminal itself is fantastic but the service I ve received has been poor sadly Initially when they were trying to get my business they couldn t have more keen Since I ve signed up I feel that I m no longer an important customer to them Martin is lovely but I feel that things were not fully explained to me at the outset and it s all been made up as we ve gone along I will be submitting a complaint to fully explain the process since I signed up for my terminal

Bad company

Very bad service and sales reps don t help purchased a machine for my sandwich shop every day I had to ring up to reset the machine u glcan never get hold of the rep he cutsnu off everytime u have to send ur idn through whats app very in oroffesanal servjxsn

Misled by rep about savings and service

I was promised significant savings versus my existing Worlpay account I was gullible enough to believe the rep so switched - the promised savings were an outright lie I am now paying more Also the customer service isn t very good I have contacted them regarding merchandising stickers I still have received nothing and I enquired as to why I was misled about the savings which they chose to ignore Don t switch if you have an existing provider and if you are looking for a new provider don t choose RMS

I do not recommend this company

I received only a partial refund from them Machine that was not working was collected by their courier By putting the previous review up they FINALLY contacted me I have not continued with this company because they never answered their phones or responded to me until I posted a bad review on here I have only amended my rating from 1 star to 2 because they have sent me some money back but it s been a complete nightmare There are clearly customers on here happy with their service but I was not one of them and therefore do not recommend them Thankfully I have now found a good company with excellent customer service

Our machine has gone down

Our machine has gone down so telephoned RMS and after very long wait times 1-2 hours on each occasion I eventually get through to someone who says they will send out a new machine in 3-5 working days I will lose so much business over a busy bank holiday weekend being a pub Totally unacceptable should be able to send a new machine the same day

Customer service waiting time not good Between 5 20 minutes every time you call and you will call a lot if you have a Verifone machine We have had over 6 machines The last 2 calls once we got through lasted over 45 minutes each with updates and reboots Not great when you have clients waiting to pay in front of you This maybe why the credit card rates are so good Get what you pay for

Machine verifone vx 675 never worked

Machine verifone vx 675 never worked properly almost given up on it now it wont turn on just keeps turning on flashing its been so bad for 2 5 years 6 months of miss sold contract left just want rid The machine when working refuses transactions have to spend so much time with clients rebooting it starting it up again And ir wont even do that now Most of my clients pay me now online 50 per quater plus elavon compliance fees us transaction fees very very very disapointed

Not great

Phone customer service has been dismissive and very unhelpful on a whole Problems with my terminal at Christmas meant I was left without a card machine for 5 days - mid December and over a weekend with a very pitiful amount being offered to me as compensation Not impressed with the service at all but my terminal has worked well throughout the 3 years Wouldn t use again though

Do not recommend this company

Getting through to costumer services is a nightmare near enough impossible through there chat and on the phone They also phone you a lot with other sales related calls trying to get you to change energy provider telephone internet etc even when you repeatedly ask them not to contact you with these type of calls- a real nuisance

Beware of dealings with RMS

Mail and emails appear not to get through to this company If you are cancelling your account make sure that any letter is tracked and signed for They always find a way of charging you more than you expect Make sure you cancel the direct debit otherwise they will still take money from your accountBEWARE
