It was appalling

It was appalling Steer clear of this dealership They are unreliable unprofessional and don t care They left me without my vehicle for over 24 hours without any explanation or communication having paid extra for same day vehicle pick up and drop off to my home address Very disappointing and cost me a days work because I was left without my vehicle

An absolutely awful service and people

An absolutely awful service and people to deal with Booked in for investigation into a water leak into the rear seat footwell I was told after keeping the car for the weekend that the water came in from a loose windscreen and it would cost 500 to replace Told them that I would take the car back to find out why the screen had become loose On collection I found that they broke my screen right in the middle of sight line and didn t tell me about it No apology or offer to replace it except to say that it broke during investigation but needed replacing anyway Dreadful customer service

Poor salesmanship

Judging from recent reviews it seems MBG has pulled up its socks when it comes to the quality of salesmanship 3 years ago we purchased a 1 year old B Class At the time nothing was said by the salesperson about the ins and outs of the Mercedes Me function especially about the fact that after a certain time various items of software including the Nav system expire and one has to pay to get them reinstated in the case of the Nav system 299 00 for another 3 years This came to our notice only a few days ago and although this was salesmanship at its worst MBG has refused to assist in any way in true corporate fashion So if you go to them to buy a car make sure they tell you absolutely everything or finish up dishing out yet more money Won t be a problem for us though as we will never go near them again

my S class Mercedes HK09 AGO came in for an MOT on AUG 1 as my local garage had failed it on corroded brake pipes After a long wait with one part due in October I agreed for a Euro part to be fitted and then on the 23 rd of AUG it was going to be delivered and I paid about 3 300 Then I got a call that a brake pipe was leaking and this would cost a further 2 300 The car has only done 44 000 but the bid form buy any car is 4 600 so at the age of 89 my motoring days are over If you had spotted the brake problem earlier like my local garage did I would have scrapped the car which we bought new from your Southampton branch You have the car because it is undrivable so we have stalemate I really must consider bringing my experience to a larger audience now David HensherDavid Hensher 07932 77224

Very disorganized

Very disorganized Right hand doesn t know what left hand does Had appointment 5 days in advance for tyres to be fitted and after one hour on the day they realised they didn t have the tires Poor service very disappointed

Lack of communication and Shoddy service

My vehicle has gone into the garage 2 times regarding apple car play It will need to go back again despite communicating the issue is something hardware related First time was a software update and I was skeptical 2nd time was blamed on not using the correct cable even though it s an official apple cable Makes me wonder what they are doing under the hood if a technician can t tell the difference between a simple iPhone cable

Service records not updated so breakdown cover was invalid

I am supposed to get breakdown cover with my service contract But when I broke down and called out the breakdown services I was told I was not covered Why Because the records had not been updated to show that my car had been serviced in July I had to pay more than 160 to get them to come out If Sandown cannot carry out a simple job like updating service records what else have they missed

There once was a Mercedes of Basingstoke Who s aftercare service is quite the joke For buying a used car hasn t been smooth The word I dispute is the one saying Approved A MESSAGE OF WARNING to customer folk If buying a used car make sure it s not broke Don t trust Mercedes you should be cautious Take AA inspector to check it for us For if you drive off and something is wrong Even blinking obvious they ll say it wasn t them Extra insurances you buy with the car Become invalid if the vehicle s under par Only 2 years old I thought it d be ok Used and Approved is just a cliche Mercedes walked away when they should have put it right Be warned fellow customers their absolute utter Rubbish

Disappointing Experience at Mercedes Sandown

I had a frustrating experience at Mercedes Sandown I took my vehicle in for an intermittent starting issue and after a diagnostic check they quoted me an excessive amount for repairs Despite keeping my car for over two weeks for what should have been a quick fix they were unable to obtain the necessary parts I eventually decided to bring the car back home and called a local key specialist He arrived promptly identified a loose wire and fixed it on the spot at no charge I wonder why Mercedes couldn t find this simple issue instead providing a very expensive repair bill for something that wasn t necessary Overall I ve lost trust in their service and strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs at this dealership

Left my car for service and MOT Friday at 8 40am and told it will be ready between 4 and 6pm they ll phone me 4 50pm call no won t be ready ready Saturday they ll call me No call Zero communication I called sorry service department closed until Tuesday because not open Bank Holidays and cannot access your car Over 13 years of loyalty I feel very let down
