8 hours waiting

We have 8 contracts with Secom Phone line is always a nightmare but hey ho Had a call out at 1 30am found nothing wrong Had another call out same thing Rang today at 11 30am for an engineer after numerous promises that my job is next on the list have phoned back again I am now waiting for a night engineer to turn up in approx 1 hour BTW it is now 7 30pm Thanks a lot SECOM

Since moving from ADT to Secom

Since moving from ADT to Secom our confidence level has dropped a bit with regards to our security This is because of getting telephone calls during emergency we have started receiving text messages If there was a theft middle of the night - who is going to read a text message Secondly we also requested to have a sales person visit us so that we can change so positions So far nobody has even to contacted us after 2 weeks of our phone call Surely very unprofessional Thanks Mr Kishor Negandhi - M D

Do not listen to customer and act on supplied information

We had an appointment for a set time as we have to attend the site to open the doors The engineer was exceptionally late claiming he had not been told about the appointment We had to sit twiddling our thumbs for 2 hours waiting This is not the first time either it should be on our records at Secom that appointments are essential

Cost of battery

The engineer was most courteous and seemed to do a good job However we were not advised that the cost of a replacement battery would not now be covered by our annual maintenance fee as it had been in the past Not sure if this was the responsibility of head office to let us know

Engineer was polite and very

Engineer was polite and very informative he told us that for the past 8 years our front door alarm had not been working so unable to set I m hoping his promise of sending us an engineer to fix it will come to fruition

Appointment not made - required to gain access

Company rep turned up to the site sports club without our advance knowledge It is normally closed at present during the day and even if not access to the office where the equipment is is limited Luckily the Chairman of the whole site was around and could provide access Otherwise would have been a wasted trip We need to know about such visits to ensure access can be given Was advised would be emailed a report - this has not been forthcoming

Intruder Alarm service appointment

When making the booking on behalf of Mr Petersen I made it very clear that the technician would have to collect the keys from me and that he should call me advance He did none of this and left the property without making contact with me Following a phone call he returned to the property and carried out the service He also showed me the text message he received which was incomplete So clearly there is a significant in house communications problem Also having realized the text message was incomplete the technician appears not to have attempted to resolve the matter by calling the office I would point out that we had a virtually identical problem last year

Just to stress the problem is not the engineer s who are great but the secom system I am a premises manager in a primary school and I had to be careful the amount of visitors on site out of the blue I received a txt to say a engineer was on way but going past my finish time I tried to cancel the visit by email as i couldn t speak to any one the guy turned up any way at worst time with pupils leaving buiding and heavy movement no regard for client not impressed

The service engineer was very pleasant

The service engineer was very pleasant but the system then suffered faults within 24 hrs of his visit Subsequently not able to use the alarm and waited in all day for a promised engineer without any communication or update from Secom until chased again around 5 00pm Finally arranged for engineer to attend the following morning Unfortunately this is not the first time we have had faults following a service maintenance visit

Change of engineer

Change of engineer who was very nice and polite but not familiar with our system which is an old one Everything took twice as long Then got a visit from the Secom compliance department who gave further guidance and eventually got the inspection and check complete Secom should train in advance or give the engineer a clue to expect an older or different system and a guide to operate it
