Excellent service and availability Quick and responsive with booking Clear instructions regarding breakdown of costs Improvements was expecting a telephone call before delivery and collection to ensure I was in as they couldn t give me a definitive window for either Didn t receive a call on either occasion but luckily I was in on both occasions so there were no issues Delivery driver was very helpful and personable

Very helpful members of staff Only reason I gave it four out of five was that the process system is a bit long winded and you have to hang around until the system is gone through Would be the only criticism I would have As I stated staff are extremely helpful and friendly friendly

Hire costs are fine Delivery is good However on a couple of occasions I have off hired goods have been collected but the hire cost has run on When I have spoken to Head Office about this the matter has been checked a credit has been given

I picked a floor saw up from your

I picked a floor saw up from your Kendal depo after using it for about half an hour One of the steel wheels underneath the saw fell off so I had to put it back on We had to lean the saw backwards to re fit it then the machine would not start I rang your Kendal depo they had no mechanic available so I had to transport the machine from Barrow all the way back to Kendal There they got it going but it had got oil in the cylinder with me undertaking the repair on the wheel so as I see it not my fault So three and a half hours out of my day and two extra trips to Kendal from Barrow in all a waste of time and money as I see it F W Huddleston Ltd S H C have now compensated me for my lost time and inconvenience thank you Kendal depo

Hire of Plasterboard Lifter

We hired a plasterboard lifter Good lifters seem to be in short supply and we were informed that a few were in for repairs Reccommend booking well in advance therefore The american Sumner lifter we hired was great if a little over-engineered and heavy Allowed us to install the ceiling boards safely and with accuracy We took out a weeks hire which proved very good value for money

Check your invoice straight away

Would have received 5 stars but when the hire was over I filled the digger up with diesel as instructed in fact i put more in than what it came with when went to get my deposit back I was charged for fuel but you could not put anymore in gutted about that
