Simply health dental plan save your money

Simply health dental plan what a waste of time and money the is a clause in the very very small printed terms and conditions that before the pay out half of what your treatment costs they need to see old dental records from year dot Do your self a favour put your money in a jar each month at least then you ain t got to fight for a pay out of only half of the total bill Rip off merchants swerve this company

Would rate it zero if I could

Would rate it zero if I could Took out policy after paying premiums for over a year tried to claim for treatment to have it rejected Trying to talk to someone is almost impossible they only contact you when direct debit is cancelled as they want your money Customer service in my opinion is non existent

Don t recommend it Avoid Waste of money

Don t recommend it if you claim for something more expensive like tooth filling they will ask for some ridiculous documents like last 2 years of full mouth charting Like who even has that Provided everything they asked for to make claim with invoice what happen and what was done pricing and bank statements with all dental practice details Basically you are paying 10 depends on your cover and only thing you will claim is some basic dental check up I m surprised they didn t ask for last 2 years of my all dental checkups so you better off saving that money towards your next dentist bill then them

Your plan is annual and you can t cancel mid term

Your plan is annual and you can t cancel mid term even if you do the full amount is payable it s in the small print AT THE BACK of the letter which is sneaky It should be on the front in large print because if you forget to cancel on the renewal date you have missed your chance

Your contact options are near useless

Your contact options are near useless 1 Phone - chatbot can t respond to desired query2 chat assistant- can t get past first base to send message3 form for online queries - No select reference to what I want to ask therefore can t even submit my query Bottom line- No way to resolve my query

I wouldn t recommend them to anyone

Beware once you join it s difficult to leave And not all dental services can provide what they require They do not come across as customer friendly or customer health first to me You may find it difficult to get money back after dental care as not all dental services can provide what they require Also it s difficult to leave the company Have tried to leave company - given notice several times verbally and by email but they stipulate notice is only accepted exactly in their designated time frame of their renewal notice period - their reason the system won t allow anything else Appalling I wouldn t recommend them to anyone

Going totally paperless

Simply Health are becoming paperless and unwilling to send out paper claim forms Some people do not use androids or computers or find uploading documents difficult including the elderly It should not be a battle to arrange to get a paper claim form sent Apart from this I have had positive experience with Simply Health over last 10 years or so that I have been a member

Don t understand the term lacking cognitive ability

Another company geared up at financially abusing elderly folk Auto renewed 96yr old parents policy in April 2024 Now refusing to cancel in contract Think you ll find since she hasn t had independent control if her finances since January and was diagnosed with dementia and unfit to make own decisions in March you ve acted illegally DD cancelled Please please try to take the threatened legal action I d love to see this in court

Asked to cancel membership by phone but

Asked to cancel membership by phone Simplyhealth replied they had recently changed their terms and conditions to Annual membership So asked to cancel membership at end of Annual membership Person from Simplyhealth said she couldn t do that computer said NO and said I needed to call back 2 months prior to end of Annual membership I found that response completely unreasonable not least since Simplyhealth like to Auto Renew membership in case you forget to cancel So complained in writing about not being able to cancel until 2 months prior to end of membership Ever since been Bombarded with numerous unwanted emails asking me to take a survey Beware before you sign up
