The survey was too long

Although I am Reasonably happy I do get annoyed when everything has to be done on line now I was asked to upload my Receipt to enable me to make a claim

getting expensive

Having suffered a severe stroke I was advised that physiotherapy was necessary to aid my recovery My physiotherapist is fully qualified and licensed to practice However his name is not on SH s prescribed list and therefore I do not qualify for rebate of costs This has caused me considerable stress in an already bad situation A ridiculous state of affairs I contacted Customer care as advised in the reply from Simply Health I have been told that my physio has to be registered with the HCPC Health Care Professions Council My physio is registered with a different professional body the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers BASRaT who are registered with the professional standards authority Simple Health appears not to recognise this body and I was informed by SH Customer Care that it is in the terms and conditions All in all no help at all and my position on claiming is unchanged My physio has been of great help and I am able to walk my arm remains paralysed My SH contract seems pointless

Online not working for me

Its a great service and they pay out very promptly also I ve never had and issues with any of my claims The app is good and I can keep a check on how much is let outstanding The only major gripe I have with company is the increasing monthly premium is now going up even under a corporate membership and the maximum I can claim back on the policy have been the same the several years but treatment prices are increasing To the point that I won t be able to use this service and will probably have to look elsewhere or cease all and will end up putting my health at risk as I will no longer be able to afford the insurance So for the service I would give 5 stars but for value for money 2 stars

Just give out paper claim forms when asked

Online not working for me prefer paper claim even if its less ecological I can t claim on line at present with my current computer phone equipment

Used to be an excellent company

You have your systems well oddly enough your customers have systems too Just give out a stock of paper or printable claim forms I have no interest in scanning a wide variety of paper receipts for you

Used to be an excellent company I m not impressed by one that is always looking for a way to wriggle out of claims I ve been a paying customer for many years but I no longer recommend them and I am now considering terminating my membership

Claims process is fairly fast and

ive always found it almost impossible to know what the limit is to my claiming despite asking over the years ive never had a straight answer

Claim Form

Claims process is fairly fast and efficient But the basic allowances have not been increased on my policy for many many years however the premium goes up every year Yes I could upgrade the plan to get more allowance but i feel the overall value for money of the plan decreases every year I guess this means simply health as a company becomes less and less efficient

A few niggles with Simply Health

Just wanted a claim form - has not arrived yet - told in future all claims will be on line - not charmed not everyone in computer literate - or have a computer for that matter - why oh why have clients doing all the work - and hide behind cost cutting etc - we pay for this service - I was in it when it was Leeds Hospital Fund many years ago

Great range of benefits and ease of claiming

Good although value for money seems to go down every year and I am now seriously considering leaving Simply Health E g on my husband s account he is now only able to claim 50 for dental and optical instead of 100 as previously whilst the cost of his policy has been rising steadily Even if Simply Health up the amount you can claim for at 50 they make sure that most people won t be claiming their full entitlement Frustrating and it feels like they are taking their customers for fools Also it doesn t seem to be possible to view which receipts you have uploaded once submitted This is quite a flaw in tbe system
