We were members of Solidarity for two years and it was nothing short of a nightmare We have medical needs that are almost 2 years old that have not been paid one bill was sent to collections and another 3 are about to go into collections others we just had to pay ourselves to avoid collections we paid thousands of dollars more for procedures than we would have had with insurance because providers in our area do not accept health sharing companies as insurance which is not surprising when healthshares do not pay and it has been a part time job to keep up with all the needs requests for information already filed and phone calls and emails to stay on top of things They do not put forth the Catholic ideal -- Christ would never treat others this way

After the birth of my 3rd child my young family is left with billed amounts of 40 000 which date back to May 2022 Physicians are threatening collections and solidarity cannot give me a timeline for payment They have also processed multiple bills incorrectly multiple times and send them back for reprocessing which takes another 45 business days plus time for payout again with no timeline My family is very concerned that this could financially wreck us for years They say they are pro life but the stress of a mother not being taken care of especially her medical bills does not seem to go along with their pro life mission

Same story as all the other 1 stars They kept delaying payment to the hospital until the hospital finally stopped giving extensions and sent it to collections We ended up having to pay in full through the collection agency It is a terribly run company They are NOT a Christian company A Christian company would not treat its share members or the healthcare providers the way they do By the end of our time with them it began to feel like a scam

I have been a member since May 2019 and Solidarity has not paid a dime of my bills I have contributed over 20K and not received a dime of benefits A pre-approved surgery from 2021 is still not paid and I was sent to collections by the Medical facility for non -payment I am a practicing Catholic and thought this organization would be a good fit I was wrong they give Catholics a bad reputation

I have been with solidarity for over 2 years Here is why you should do business with solidarity - You like damaging your credit from having unpaid medical bills go to collections - You like being on hold for 50 minutes - You like randomly being told your policy is canceled because their credit card processing system apparently cant handle a VISA or Amex - You enjoy paying thousands in medical bills for coverage you thought you had If I could give them 0 stars I would

BEWARE Solidarity Healthshare is a total scam The way they do business is disgusting You are better off putting your money in a savings account because no doctor will see you unless you pay cash upfront Good luck getting reimbursed - it ll take a year if you get reimbursed at all Hard to believe they call themselves Christians

I signed up with Solidarty Health share 4 years ago in 2019 I was happy with the plan until I needed to use it in 10 2022 I needed a small procedure and was told it was not accepted I contacted Solidarty and they informed me I can pay out of pocket and be reimbursed I did just that I submitted the required documentation to start the reimbursement Ive been told over and over again they were backed up and implementing an new system and my check is next in line It has been 15 months I still get the same answer when I check in I have since went to a legitimate Insurance company and I called to cancel Solidarty only to learn if I cancel I will not receive the money for the claim even though I had coverage at the time of the loss The process has proven to me we get what we pay for I would discourage anyone from using Solidarty as a health care provider I will take this as a lesson learned and be grateful my bill was only 8 000 and not 100 000 Please consider other options when choosing health coverage This Company is not equipped to handle the costs and administration necessary to the needs of the subscribers

Never use solidarity unlessmyou want to waste your time being insulted by the customer service They run your bills through thier sister company Amps to get the bill approperatly priced This is just a way to hold the bill until it goes to collections We call solidarity they claim we need to talk to Amps We calll Amps they either blame our submission or tell us to call solidarity It is a scam never use them I have bills 16 months old in collections they claim they are working

We have been long term customers over five years and at best we can say is that Solidarity is a type of Ponzi scheme Bottom line is they don t pay your bills They have promised to pay into our surgeries we have had everything pre-authorized and set up prearranged negotiated pay agreements between Solidarity and our providers all to little avail The bottom line is they will process your paperwork look for reasons to deny your claim eventually tell you your bill has been approved for sharing and then years later you will find that they still haven t paid And while our providers have received payments for small things expect to wait at least two - three years for any payment on bigger expenses like surgeries We have had to pay our providers out of pocket even when Solidarity has pre-agreed to pay simply because Solidarity pays so very slowly Doctors and hospitals can t be expected to wait forever As a result we have been threatened by collection agencies paying our bills out of pocket in order to save our credit rating Solidarity s people on the phone make you think payment is just around the corner but it s just not the case Be very careful if you join Solidarity Yes the pricing is attractive but know - your money is going to pay someone else s bills which like ours are three years old i hope they don t go bankrupt before they share into our approved bills

Please communicate to my Health Care Providers when they call and email I m getting many bills from Health Care Providers due to NO commincation from Solidarity with the repricing Some over a year old So I m left having to pay for the non contracted amount or go into collections because Solidarity will not communicate with health care provider or myself I have paid my plan for many years and I feel like all my payments where for nothing They have provided no resolve on any bills over the year They collect your monthly payments and turn away with their part
