Fine but no alternatives
I wish the devices were easier to clean there are lots of tiny ridges from layers inside which then make it challenging to cleanI had a device break and it took quite a while and a lot of follow up calls between my dentist for the replacement to be shipped out

Unromantic still clunky in mouth
Unromantic still feels like a foreign object in mouth cannot close mouth completely Dry mouth due mouth being open a little Less apnoeas but still occassionally snore Avant-garde is better but still unpleasant in mouth

Appliance for snoring
The first device I had for a few years and it broke I had it replaced and a few months after I received the replacement it broke again Although it works it seems the quality of the materials has gone down hillSent an email to support as requested and no response

Mixed results
The MAS was easy to get used to I felt that the quality of my sleep quality had improved but after 5 months use a sleep test showed that the improvement was not as great as I had perceived The number of respiratory disturbances had declined by 50 from the previous test but there had been only minimal improvement in my oxygen desaturation level Back to the drawing board

Not sure if is the product or me In the beginning when I started using SomnoMed i stopped snoring This was around 2 months ago However my wife said that I have started snoring again I can feel that I am as well I have changed the band 3 times to smaller sizes

I am sleeping and dont need a C pap
Around 12 months ago I had an operation to address prostate issues My anesthetist recommended that I see an ENT specialist to check out mouth breathing and excessive snoring That resulted in having a deviated septum straightened and a sleep study undertaken Sleep apnea was confirmed and the ENT surgeon recommended that I should have a mandible splint fitted It took a month for me to reach the right lower jaw extension and for any snoring to cease My sleep pattern seems to be changing slower than I expected By the time of my next sleep study in March 2025 I expect things to be sorted
