Terrible support and no refund
I was using soyoustart for 5 years They suspended my server 1 minute after getting an abuse claim There isn t even any name on it They also send me abuse claim for an IP which I am not using at all I created a ticket and asked refund for rest of the service because I can not use it anymore they just closed the ticket without any answer Stay away from this company Terrible support and steals your money

Inexpensive highly questionable value
2021 Re-write Been a SyS customer for 6 years now They are dirt cheap for game servers That s it There is almost nothing else good about their service If you re ok with that This is the company for you I rent their Game-3 service used to rent Game-2 They have recently reconfigured offerings and disallow windows use on some of these machines without cause other than to force windows users into more expensive hardware They expect me to believe they found intel hardware somewhere that is incompatible with windows Yea sure thing Sys If you rent from SyS forget about having accurately written guides or resources They will just link you to OHV who s web design and options don t match up to SYS at all When you need to ask them for help you ll be sure to wait a few days for a response When they do respond expect them to ignore all of the information you originally sent them and be asked to run unrelated troubleshooting tasks I ve spent a TON of time diagnosing problems that turned out to be the results of poorly implemented web features We have had NON-stop network issues with these machines since the DAY we started using them Once we find a sweet spot we have to stay hands-off these machines or many players will be unable to reach them for reasons that NO ONE can determine because SYS techs are clueless Trying to run a profit-free gaming community These servers have made that almost impossible No one wants to play on machines that are so difficult to access from a wide variety of locations but all are well within an acceptable range

Took my money can t use server 0 support
Purchased a server the setup failed due to an accounts issue however the money was charged There s 0 assistance and the 120 seconds setup time is a lie They don t pick up phones answer emails tickets etc The 24 7 365 line is a hoax and is blatant false advertising We ve been on hold for hours now with no sign of an agent picking up SoYouStart is an utter disgrace and won t be getting my business again anytime soon

Customer Service is non-existent
While the products are cost effective and reasonably reliable their customer service is non-existent I ve had a few servers with them over the last few years and when things are working as they should it s great BUT if anything and I mean anything goes wrong - you are on your own They take days at best to respond to anything other than sales related enquiries I ve actually had issues remain unresolved even after their so-called thecnical geniuses have responded to me a few days after opeing a ticket They just don t care They also send out customer satisfaction surveys and you can t respond to them The links always lead to a message saying the link has expired So unless you know what you re doing and are happy to go it alone when things don t work I d seriously suggest another provider You ve been warned

Save your money and do not even think
Save your money and do not even think on renting a server from them -They rarely respond to your messages -Their reset password system sucks I was locked outside of my server without being able to restart it for a LONG time and they simply do NOT respond -Their website has a lot of basic failures -The server was suppose to be able to run x amount of programs It was disappointing when I found out it ran maybe up to 70 Bottom line is I ve never had such a bad services before save your money save the headache and disappointment

Bought a dedicated game server almost 2 weeks ago theres no support not even opened when they say they are they dont answer tickets nor do they answer phone calls this is a scam I spent 55 on a server I STILL DONT HAVE IT Absolutely a scam

SUPPORT WHAT SUPPORT
Had a Gaming server 2 which I upgraded to a Server 3 I WISH i went with the competition I had to pay a set up fee even tho im an existing customer BUT the most annoying part is the Windows Key activation Its Been 24 hours longer than the 30mins they told me And still i cant install my server I have opened a support ticket on Friday at 12 noon and NO REPLIES I will be cancelling my order and recommend you avoid this company pay cheap for CRAP SUPPORT

They don t care
I ordered a server a month ago from them its locked up 5 times and has required 11 interventions during that period and there is nothing actually running on it yet They do reply to the support tickets but they don t actually answer your questions and usually reply with a single line throwaway comment They also told me to perform my own hardware tests on their equipment I phoned to cancel the server and they couldn t be bothered to cancel it in person told me to do it myself via the online control panel If you are lucky you may get what you pay for but in my case I didn t quite get that

Insanely bad reliability
They ve sold me a broken server which goes down every 1 or 2 days From their side everything is ok because the ram or the network is not failing They replaced me the power supply and broke the information of the disks 0 reability insanely bad support They took 1 week to give my server instead of those 120 seconds Never again

How the mighty have fallen
Iv used OVH SYS and Kimsufi on and off for years I can sadly say it has NEVER taken them a week to confirm my IDs for security this seems to be a thing with Kimsufi and SYS in particular there customer service is almost nonexistent There cheap thats about all the good i can say There servers are outdated the networks not whats advertised They use custom kernels and dont provide the kernels trust me at some point this becomes a bigger and bigger issue And then the customer service has just disappeared completely
