Subject Extremely Disappointed - No Response for Leaking Sunroof

I recently received a request to leave a review and I feel it is necessary to share my experience My initial interaction with this service was absolutely fantastic efficient straightforward and the job was completed promptly However my most recent experience has been deeply disappointing Two days ago my sunroof broke and started leaking I contacted their office and was promised a call back which never came I followed up twice more each time being assured they would return my call They did not As a result I am now driving with a leaking sunroof unable to get through to them for assistance This lack of follow-up and poor communication is entirely unacceptable It is incredibly frustrating and disappointing particularly given my previous positive experience If this is indicative of how they treat repeat customers I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future Please if anyone from the company reads this review contact me I am tired of calling and being told I will receive a call back without any response

No honesty or integrity in this company

It seems that everyone in Spectrum is instructed to disbelieve customers and challenge all claims that are made My car suffered some very minor damage all which was clearly within the limits stipulated by Spectrum in their Smart Care cover booklet ie minor dent up to 300mm diameter and 3mm in depth Despite photographs which showed measuring rulers confirming the damage was within the stipulated limits Spectrum kept refusing to pay Fortunately my car dealer Honda was very kind and persisted with helping me with the claim Eventually Spectrum agreed to pay 50 which while better than nothing demonstrated their pigheadedness in this clear cut case Spectrum really needs to change its behaviour and introduce some honesty and integrity in dealing with customers

My main grievance is the ability to contact someone I rang several times before being able to speak to someone They told me to take it to my usual garage but ring to confirm the price before the work was done Couldn t contact anyone so just told the garage to go ahead Could only contact someone the day after the car was repaired I would have been without the car for 2 days instead of getting it back on the day Not impressed

Taking more than 4 months

Was going well until the repair guy was unable to fix 2 small dings I was told to organise my own repair which took months with a max payout of 150 per ding minus 10 excess I eventually got the work done for 450 - cover fell 150 short I sent in the invoice Over a month later I received this review request at which point I discovered I had yet to be paid So more than 4 months since I claimed I called in to be told only 26 working days have passed and I ll be paid within 30 Not a good experience this time compared to previous claims that were completed inside 2 weeks

Slow response to the claim

Slow response to the claim sent by our garage so we had to leave our car there overnight - just because the small claim wasn t handled the same day They told us our garage hadn t sent anything so we had to call back and forth to get evidence that our repair estimate had been emailed Disappointing They rang back the following day and it was sorted An earlier callback we had requested came two days later

We were told one thing when we 1st rang This person had attitude Got the work done submitted invoices Then they tried to refuse to pay it We argued This person knew their job found records of original conversations then they said they would pay Took an age 4 payment Website when applying for policy doesn t indicate payout period Feel trapped with monthly payments Hopefully I shouldn t have hassle with amount of payments left to pay as confirmation originally said wrong number of monthly payments then left to pay So far I wouldn t recommend the company personally

They need to work on their

They need to work on their communication and integrity I had no idea what was going on one of the team members was also caught giving misleading information call recordings proved I was telling the truth over what the agent was saying I had to pay half the invoice and this day I ve not received an explanation as to why that is I got tired and gave up chasing
