I used this company for a simple remortgage the process took way longer than it should have with poor communication and frequent assistance explaining basic issues like the management company being the owner of the freehold the flat owners being directors of the management company etc Don t use there are better companies out there such as Gorvins Residential

I have sent various emails to the companies complaints department addressed to the person whose name was given to me by a member of staff All of these emails have remained unanswered How can one resolve an issue without the other party not even having the courtesy to reply Total lack of respect for the customer 4 emails since January 30 2024 Their answer merits escalation to the ombudsman and report to the SRA They asked for money on account which I did I call that doing business Their reply is below anyone s standards Beggars beliefProbably N BreitensteinI ve given you my name And I was a client of yours The name is Nicolette Breitenstein Nothing odd Many people use different names That is not a reason to ignore all my emails My emails clearly show my name I finally received a reply from Mr Starck Claiming to be I m not claiming to be simply asked to get a reply from my various emails Still no page 2 from the consent form I asked for Not to worry I managed to get a copy One page consent form As I said I got the second page from another source I wish you all the best tooIn the meantime I ve still not received an answer as to why none of my emails have remained unanswered

They seem to have very good reviews for purchase and selling but Section 21 evictions are not a strength Starck Uberoi took on my case to prepare a pretty standard Eviction 21 hearing my first hearing was adjourned due to missing documents I did this hearing myself To ensure everything went smoothly for the rescheduled hearing I approached Starck Uberoi to prepare all documents The second hearing was adjourned for the exact same reason Starck Uberoi had overlooked the dates required for the pre-scribed information to be provided to the tenant Feedback from Starck Uberoi after the hearing was the judge was draconian and wrong They then also had the audacity to present me with an additional bill After pointing out the information the judge quoted in the hearing on the government website there is no doubt the judge is correct and Starck Uberoi incompetent I am left to wait a further delay of several months to finalise the eviction I will not be returning to Starck Uberoi for support

Rorie took my money made no progress with my case and then stopped responding to my emails So now I m hundreds of pounds out of pocket and having to start the process all over again Avoid this firm

What a shambles A very poor communication in fact no communication at all I sent an email with a simple request to look at my case After four days I contacted them and asked why no one contacted me The receptionist advised me to email which I had done but clearly she was not listening She promised to chase it After two days still nobody called or wrote to me I have wasted a week How much does it take to acknowledge an email It is a shame that stackuber is so careless They have an impressive website but unprofessional staff I also wanted to extend my lease with five other leaseholders in our block - now I know not to touch this useless firm

They take your case But after there is no communication you have to constantly chase them After everything had to give up and get new solicitors James rarely answers phone or replies to messages If u manage to get through he doesn t follow through I think the service was very unprofessional

I have just completed a relatively simple conveyancing trascation that took 7 months because of the shoddy work that this firm performed Every single person I spoke to lied to me about one thing or another and for a total of 3 complete months they did zero amount of work on my file My solicitor changed 3 times and I was never informed and I nearly lost both my buyer and my purchase Starck Uberoi were not even the cheapest quote I received but I went with them as a middle ground but I urge you don t instruct them they are a complete waste of space

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY We used Starck Uberoi for purchasing a property and had issues from the start Very poor communication from everyone in the company Unprofessional and lacking of attention Contact delays and not responding to our emails calls for days on Now we are left with undisclosed outstanding bill with the leaseholder thousands of pounds because they didn t do their work properly and won t take responsibility for it one of the main partners it s the worst example of how a professional should behave

After a constructive initial phone call very poor communication once case details were sent No response to 5 emails 3 calls unreturned Take your business elsewhere Very unprofessional attitude to clients Response below highlights the problem - after asking for all the case details they never responded to any of my attempts to contact them so obviously they didn t set me up as a client Waste of time

Leasehold enfranchisementI instructed the firm to carry out a leasehold enfranchisement and after 15 months of exceptionally slow service not responding to emails not returning phone calls and having to point out errors in the formal notices they did draft I took the work elsewhere Even going through their formal complaint process they were slow and uncommunicative One time I did get hold of the paralegal dealing with my case I was told that my matter was not a priority but he would get back to me later that week - and then nothing for 3 weeks I am sympathetic that things can get in the way some tasks take longer than anticipated but the total radio silence in response to my emails did not make me feel like I was a valued client in any way
