AVAST causes Blue Screen of Death
I pay an annual subscription for Avast One I have 2 x laptops and a cellphone covered One laptop begain crashing with Blue Screen of Death regularly Error was ASWARPOT sys which is a conflict with Avast software Laptop works fine when Avast uninstalled butvstarted crashing whek reinstalled I had Avast technicians remotely connect about 5 times taking data dumps and passing my case as Urgent onto their senior team who I was told would get back to me ASAP This was over a month ago now I have sent direct message tweets appealing for a response Ignored They clearly either don t know how to stop the issue or they don t care I have had no AVG for over a month when I am paying for the service Think carefully before paying a subscription for Avast products 12 1 24 Amazingly just had a reply to tell me to uninstall Trusteer Endpoint security software which is causing the conflict The banks strongly advise this via Rapport to protect us So I am reluctant to remove this and have suggested Avast need to add it to their safe list to avoid the problem Awaiting a reply

The products SEEM to work well but they keep sending me emails to activate my account Two LONG conversations with support where they are given access to my computer I have been assured that all is well they are all paid up and the products are functioning But I am still getting the emails to activate On my third PAINFULLY LONG conversation with them full of apologies for the delays the inconvenience etc etc they continue with the droning open this what products do you have etc and then asking me to open the product and look for the activation key Why I thought it was activated My COMPUTER SECURITY SERVICE does not know if my product is activated or not In the end the last message is Your product is activated You will not receive any more emails We will see if that is the case

They have take over 500 off my card
They have take over 500 off my card for a subscription that I cancelled over a year ago they refunded my money last year but took it again this year Now they will not answer my emails or refund my money which was taken fraudulently Do not give them any card details because they take money they are not entitled to then will not refund it

Absolutely appalling rip-off company
Absolutely appalling rip-off company Despite having Avast protection yesterday on my gmail account I had 8 really seriously advanced scammers attack my account and the one I opened had links to Paypal so I had to close and delete everything in that too I had 83 scam attacks against my hotmail account yesterday and like those in my gmail they were all approved by Avast and marked Avast Safe It was a NIGHTMARE trying to contact them- all emails bounced back and I had to try their US phone number FIVE times before anyone answered The woman had a real ATTITUDE problem refused to refund the rest of my account payment and was REALLY RUDE I tried pointing out that UK law says if a service doesn t work we are entitled to a refund NOT with Avast apparently STEER CLEAR

I unsubscribed from the driver updater a week ago - well within the 30-day free period Yet today I receive an invoice for the product That is a business paractice I definately do not want to support And when trying to complain you can t even write a message to support only use some standard issues and then you re asked to call an American phone number That is pure greedy business practice I am even considering cancelling my antivirus and changing companies because of this If only I knew how to be sure of getting this to work

Rubbish support they want you to pick the phone and call them even if it is an international call and it costs lots of just to cancel your order What the hell is that They promise you they will call you back but nothing happens until you charge credit again for another useless international call
