Incredibly bad service
I have used Sustainable in the past and had no complaints This time though the goods arrived and two out of three were incorrect items I had ordered waterproof electronics and what they supplied could not be placed outside I informed them of this and they apologised and said they would replace them but as I was away on business by them it couldn t be done that week The following week they asked if I would be able to take delivery to which I said yes and asked if they would just inform me before they come as I can t be home all day waiting The goods didn t arrive I was again asked the following week and again I said yes but would they please inform me before hand Waited in and nothing came Two weeks later having heard nothing from them I contacted them and I asked for my goods stating that this would be their last chance to do so I was assured delivery would be made given the delivery persons name and told they would contact me beforehand Now one week later I have had no delivery no call no email - not a word from them

Battery and Inverter is not a System
Purchased a Sustainable 400W Power Box with Lead Acid Battery under the category Battery Backup Systems expecting it to be a complete system as there was no explicit indication that a charger is not included After waiting more than 2 weeks for it to arrive and not getting what was expected there was no attempt to rectify their mistake The total shipping cost of almost R600 to get a refund after purchasing an inverter and a battery instead of a system really leaves a sour taste I would ve saved myself R600 and not considered it an option if I knew it s an inverter and a battery

Zero technical support for a very technical productfor my order
After waiting a while for my order with me having to enquire a few times we have now installed our inverter and batteries We need technical support which is not forthcoming When phoning youare referred to email - which responds that there is a long queue Another call refers to the online chatbot - that also responds by referring to a long queue Bottom line - a week later - zero technical support Our battery and inverter does not can not communicate Be warned This can get expensive
