Do not buy a Suunto watch
Update I did drain the battery fully and used two different original cables It charges to 100 but de-charges in 5 days not doing anything but keeping time This is ridiculous No Suunto your problem isn t temporary Stop kidding yourself Do not buy a Suunto watch They have the worst service ever I sent in my Ambit 1 for a simple battery replacement It took them 1 month to change the battery And what s more the new battery seems to be even worse than the 12 year old original battery they replaced The battery goes from 100 to 0 in only 5 days without using any GPS What an absolute nightmare And as you can see from the average rating here on trustpilot I am not the only one having a bad experience Suunto is done for Shame really

I ordered an expensive watch on 17th march and now 1st may I still have no watch and no refund Suunto completely ignore all attempts to contact them Having got through on web Chat I was told it would be escalated to head office Still no response watch or refund Husbands birthday been and gone now and still struggling to get anywhere Absolutely disgusting customer service

Disastrous experience with Suunto customer service My Suunto 7 watch has a burnt-in screen after less than 3 years of proper use I send it to the repair center and first get the plain message that my watch is for the trash and that I better buy a new one They supposedly give me an affordable rate but this is more expensive than making a purchase online myself I also only get my watch back after I pay 41 for the problem analyses which never happened and shipping After I mention this terrible service they promise me a new proposal But I don t hear anything at all and they no longer answer my emails I have already emailed more than 10 times and opened numerous tickets but my watch has been missing for 2 months now Should I report theft to the police or what now Absolutely shameful way to treat loyal customers Stay away from Suunto Update 31 10 I am thoroughly fed up with Suunto s standard responses as below Always some nice bs reply but they don t really help people They are now sending me the same email with exactly the same ridiculous proposal really sad

Don t do it SW update 1 5 9 - D series
Updating dive computer software to 1 5 9 was the stupidest thing suunto ever did Moving the nitrox mode into general settings completely goes against the way we ve been using suunto dive computers for years And the only way you know how to find the changes in software is scouring the internet Completely unintuitive and unnecessarily fiddly Do not get your D series computers upgraded Not worth the massive hassle

Awful customer service
Awful customer service My Peak 5 watch hasn t worked very well and Suunto eventually agreed on giving me a refund I sent my watch back using DHL I ve got a delivery receipt from DHL Suunto have had my watch for 2 weeks No refund no response to my emails impossible to contact via customer online support and the latest my case has been closed by Suunto and I have not received my refund

Having used Suunto for 15 year I upgraded to a 500 watch two years ago After 2 years the main input button failed putting the watch into a permanent boot cycle same button if held down is the soft reset button Sent to suunto for a repair accepting its out of warranty Now two months down the line no idea when I might see this unit back no answers to emails chat is useless - automated only no way to speak to a person Awful

having problems with my suunto ocean even trying to contact someone is a chore I have now been informed that my query will be directed to china where they will use my personal information to address the issues Also I sent information of the things I had already attempted to resolve the issue hard soft resets and they emailed me back asking if I tried the soft and hard reset Obviously they are not even reading the email They will probably reply as they have over and over again with apologies If they know everyone is complaining of THEIR service to US why can t they look at what they could improve on This may be a very expensive product that will be returned

AVOID SUUNTO REPAIR CENTRE
Suunto finally found repaired and returned my watch They also included a free powerbank I m happy the watch is now much improved Many thanks for resolving my issue I sent my Suunto Traverse for a service On the 3rd July I got emailed a Product received notification RMA R20240628642798 It indicated an eleven working day turnaround After three weeks I contacted them and received an email declaring high volumes of repairs are causing delays After waiting a few weeks I emailed for an update They stated they are waiting for parts from finland They also stated the repair is FOC Since then despite many emails requesting an update I ve heard nothing I tried the UK Suunto customer phone number only to be told it s not accepting calls Appalling Behaviour I d advise being very wary before trusting this company

Awful customer service and product avoid
Awful customer service Yet again another update that seems focused on removing features off the watch rather than improving and adding to what is on Yopu wake up to a default watch face from an overnight update A new watch face then has to be synced on the watch from the Suunto App which does not work So all you have is the default watch face Seriously you would be better drawing on the face you want The previous update was due to water drops shower on the screen cahnging the face really this is an adventure watch There are far better and cheaper watches on the market from manufacturers that appear to value and support their customers
