someone who I can t name rang

someone called who I am not allowed to name as swiftswitch complained rang didnt really have a clue what he was on about couldnt string a sentence together and then hung up then got unsolicited spam on email Reading other reviews glad I got rid of them

Take Care Of Hidden Costs

In April 2024 I contacted SwiftSwitch having found their website on a Google search in connection with finding the best price for our business water contract which was due to expire I was contacted by the Procurement Adviser for SwiftSwitch who having taken details of my requirements offered me a competitive price from a company called Water Plus Having agreed the price I joined Water Plus and subsequently received the first bill which to my dismay included a Retail Fee of 1 46 per day which even though it was given a cursory mention during the call had not been explained to me and appeared nowhere in the written quote I was given Having complained to SwiftSwitch I eventually was told that a Retail Fee was mentioned during a conversation and they agreed the details had not been given I feel as though I have been duped into agreeing this contract and Water Plus have referred me to SwiftSwitch and refused to take any blame

Cost us an early termination fee

They switched our water supply I gave them the date of the end of the contract but they told the new company to take over before then and we got a 420 early termination fee Although having had several assurances they would look into it I have heard nothing Very poor service James Sutherland Forres Thistle FCUnfortunately I do not have access to recordings of the calls but take your word that what you have said was correct However when I phoned after the 14 days with the contract end date no-one said they couldn t try to change it before it came in to force Why did no-one respond to my queries until I posted the review I was ignored

I have tried repeatedly to contact this company regarding our new electricity contract but no one is replying to e-mails or phone calls An absolute disgrace Despite the reply below no one is calling me back and the person who managed my account is STILL there You don t have any of my details to reply to my review

Mis-sold their card services and I ll be reporting them to trading standards Added a host of extra costs to our invoice and I m now going to the small claims court to retrieve the funds It s really hard to get through to talk to anyone on the phone and when you eventually do there phone manor is shocking These guys are crooks

Changed over from Unicom clear business

Changed over from Unicom clear business to water plus but I am still being billed by Unicom and also my new supplier Told by Unicom changeover was too early before contract ended and was rejected We told swift switch when Unicom contract ended and I am now being harassed for more money How can I be billed for the same product by two different companies Very poor

Avoid

Avoid Had a quote for our business water contract and accepted it but they have switched us to the new supplier on their standard tariff at twice the price quoted Update Despite the snotty reply below from Swift Switch we did not add incorrect information They have actually emailed us to say I can see in the portal that the contract was rejected as the customer name differed to the name in our system I suspect this may have been due to the COT Change Of Tenancy not being actioned in our system at the time of the contract being put through the portal Shocking attitude and reply

SwiftSwitch they just lied then lied again and finally blamed British Gas

I agreed a three year British Gas energy contrat with Humphrey and signed up to 23p per therm They forgot all about telling BG who they blamed for trying to port the business a nonth earlier They also stated my company had failed a BG credit Reference Check I complained to Swiftswitch who did not respond Complete bunch of sharks and not to be trusted no apology its cost my company 36K in additional charges as the rates had increased significantly by the time this contract should have gone liveUpdate May 2023Swiftswitch have to day asked about my review I was instructed via this website to respond or potentially the review could be removedSo I replied they have now e mailed me saying is there anything that they can help me with My Answer is yes pay me compensation for the contract I should of had with British Gas in March 2022

Misleading prices

They lied to me and tried to hide the retail charge saying it was all included when they only quoted the set capped price for water services They then changed the price by a few pounds and said they forgot to say which still did not cover the retail charges of the supplier which would mean they were providing a service for free I don t think so They said for me to sign up and I would find out when welcome pack came through I asked for written clarification before I sign anything and funnily enough they never got back to me Luckily I was warned by another company about swift switch and their underhand selling technique which left customers tricked out of money with hidden fees

No phone calls or emails returned Suspect I ve been mis-sold a contract will be taking it up with the Ombudsman
