A limited number of Slides in paid

A limited number of Slides in paid version unless you opt for the corporate plan the pricing for which is not mentioned So for 30 month they give you 7 slides not sure what kind of presentation is limited to just 7 slides Value for money - 0 10 User-friendly 3 10 Avatars-8 10 voice quality- 7 10 Overall user-experience 2 10

They killed one of our staff

We paid for the plan and set to use one of the amazing Avatars for a representative of our marketing team We built 3 videos as tests for clients who loved them They had adapted to the Avatar we named Molly we planned and scripted 3 months worth of educational content for Molly only to log on today to find she had been binned by synthesis and they were sorry for any inconvenience wasted money and time on this I will not use them again as how can you trust a company that deletes one of your staff with no warning

Look For Hidden Charges

Decent software but has a few bugs that they don t know when they ll sort out They also charge you credits for generating videos on top of the monthly fee you already pay and they don t make it obvious When I asked for details they said Currently there is no way to see how many credits you have left on your account we re working on it Will be more expensive that you think to use so be prepared

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service I have ever seen They don t let you use their templates if you go against their Content Moderation policies We are a market research company and we promote a Mystery Shopper service Apparently this is against their policies but if you pay 1000 for a custom made avatar that problem will be solved What a joke

Synthesia censors videos

Users should be aware that Synthesia censors videos I created a video that expressed an opinion the nature of which you d find on any legitimate news service They refused to generate it saying their Avatars are based on real people and they don t want to allow them to express views that are not their own They said I should create my own avatar I did that and they still refused to generate my video Mind you my video did not cal names or insult anyone nor was there any profanity or anything like defamation of character anything that would be expected of an inappropriate expression of a point of view Customer beware

False advertising

We purchased this but realized quickly there was huge false advertising - the avatar only is visual meaning the voice will not match at all they use stock voices so we can t actually use this The point was to use this to expand the reach of existing people for marketing - but it s completely useless This should not be marketed until voice is included There are better options on the market

Greedy people

Greedy people it s all about paying Entry account is so limited that you can only create a 10mn movie per month The highest account allows 30 per month It is so ridiculous In the beginning for months it was possible to create as many movies as one would like with no restriction for just 30 Suddenly they changed the account naming and the limit was implemented Right now I will create a couple more movies for marketing and close my account Too expensive and too limited

Not impressed with the approach of this company

Staggered at these Video AI companies Trying to learn understand how the software works before you buy and there are so many restrictions Now when I log in I m being forced to a subscriptions page and I don t even know how to use the software properly yet Not a chance will I spend my money with this company when they are clearly money before anything driven Not customer friendly experience in the slightest

Total trash Had the most mildest of opinion and they cited their authorative policies to prevent the generation of the video It was very civil and asked questions for people to consider Synesthesia is simply another control tool controlling peoples right to free speech
