I order the glasses for my sons

I order the glasses for my sons birthday On the advert it said glasses come with wipe cloth soft pouch and case The glasses did not come with a case as stated I phoned to enquire about this and was told they case was the pouch I said I had screen shot the advert and I am happy to send it to you The polite lady went to find out After yet another discussion about the pouch was the case I repeated then why does it say pouch and case All I got was sorry if you want a full refund just return the glasses I explained the glasses were for my sons birthday and I now didn t have the time to do this The reason I chose optic shop was the fact I d did say the case was included

Bad customer service

Paid for next day delivery but when they did not arrive the next day contacted customer service and the said they can t do next day delivery - the basically took this money off me knowing they could not deliver When I said this to customer service they were rude and not helping and basically said oh well Also glasses came and they are definitely A LOT darker than shown on the advertising photo Really not impressed at all

I ordered a pair of glasses

I ordered a pair of glasses They arrived but were the wrong frame Phoned up and the lady I spoke to was very nice and gave me a 10 refund and said they would send the correct frame out once I d returned them The 2nd pair arrived and again were the wrong frame Phoned up and wasn t happy Said I would like a refund Have to send them back and then a full refund will be issued Will not be using again

Very good fake

Very good fake I ordered the same pair of Prada aviators that I already had but in a different colour and the differences are slight but there Most noticbly the lenses are light plastic and have sharper edges than my real pair and so I expect they are not polarised Beware as your eyes will not be protected But if you want to spend money on a good fake then this is the place to go

My partner went for some professional

My partner went for some professional advice and came out with glasses that were to big and didn t suit her at all They were not worn for a while because of that problem so by the time she went back to complain all they could offer is a discount on a new pair After being a customer for a number of years I would have thought her loyalty would have been appreciated and sorted the problem out more effectively

I ve bought from the optic shop a few

I ve bought from the optic shop a few times with no problems Unfortunately my last purchase went completely wrong My order was never delivered my saved prescriptions disappeared my paypal transaction was refunded I never received any communication to tell me what was going on When you try to contact them via their website you are told to complete the form below There is no form below to complete This is a shame because their service used to be excellent and is now awful

Faulty Items

Just purchased a new Ski Helmet from The Optic Shop A very competitive price but when the helmet was delivered it was faulty on the Top-Half They sorted a replacement within a week but unfortunately the replacement has the exactly same issue It was either same helmet send back or the replacement was never checked I have fixed the issue myself and maybe that s why the prices are relatively cheaper from anybody else Not impressed

Buying from the optic shop is a risk

Buying something on internet without having the possibility of returning it if it s not what you were expecting it to be in terms of size or style it s not how it should be My glasses are bigger and don t sit on me correctly So I ended up with something I paid for but don t use and as per the optic shop policy I can send it back or get a smaller size because it s a bespoke item Really gutted by this bad experience

Unhappy with Wayfarer shades

I should give 1 star as I can t help but think the Rayban Wayfarer sunglasses I bought were fake The lenses rattled in the frames and they had hard sharp plastic edges poorer quality than my 30 Superdry shades So either fakes or very poor quality control Giving 2 stars because they refunded my money with no quibble in super quick time But I am a fiver down having to pay returns postage

Not sure if I have received genuine

Not sure if I have received genuine product The Marc Jacobs frames exact same model were different at high street shop I went for the cheaper option and purchased them for a fraction of the price but they don t seem to be genuine The quality is different I m disappointed
