I realized that I bought the wrong size
I realized that I bought the wrong size ironing board cover as I have a wall ironing board I cancelled within an hour by email and called right after they opened on Sunday The customer service rep said that the people who handle cancelations would not answer the phone and sent a message I called again this morning Monday and was told the same thing I was told no action had been taken on the order Then at 12 30 Monday I got a call from Kristie who said that it had already been packaged I asked why no one answered the phone calls or messages from Sunday and this morning and why was told no action was taken on the order I was told that they get to the calls and emails and messages when they can Now I have to send it back before getting a credit There is no cancellation button I will never order from them again

Wife s Birthday gift fail
I ordered a robe for my wife s birthday on January 14 I thought 12 days would be sufficient to process the order and mail it Not Still don t have the item and if the tracking information is correct I won t get the item until January 31 This package traveled from VT to CT NC MA NJ OH PA NC SC NC Anyone see a problem I live in NC I ve had stuff come from China quicker than this Called the store s customer service but got no real help They should have sent me another via priority mail Called USPS and I think that is why the package is back on track for delivery to me I won t order again from this store I should have read the other reviews before ordering Lesson learned

This store is a joke
This store is a joke Customer service is rude and slow The rep told me the item shipped and said i am sorry yeah i bet you are i didn t receive a shipment confirmation checked spam folder too and i signed into their system this past weekend to check status since it had been a week since placing and the system didn t even locate the order i now have to pay return shipping AND eat the 13 95 shipping and processing fee to get this back to them an item i needed timely but they took days to process from the other reviews sounds like i won t get a refund for at least six weeks upon them re-receiving the item too

Waiting 4 months and still no refund
I ordered 2 clothing items in November 2021 They were both poor quality especially considering the price The company offers 100 satisfaction guarantee so I promptly returned the items It is nearing the end of March 2022 and I still do not have my 125 refund When I contacted the company I was told something like we are running behind in refunds Now I take that as meaning they are out of funds needed to refund The credit card company has been notified but thus far it appears that they are not having any success either 05 2022 Update---since this had taken so many months I misplaced the proof of mailing from the post office Without the proof the credit card company had nothing use to demand the refund I assume that the products were returned to inventory when they were received back at the company---and I am still out 125

Vermont Country Store Does Not Care
You re familiar with the expression pull the wool over one s eyes Well attempting a transaction with Vermont Country Store feels like having a whole sheep thrown in one s face You can read in the comments here about the sorts of nonsense VCS does in order to enrich themselves at the expense of their abused customers Horrible defective products long telephone wait times non-responsive live chat customer service representatives ill equipped to actually resolve problems ridiculous charges i e to return defective products no accountability the absence of truthful answers Yes they did it to me too That Customer Bill of Rights they post on their website along with that aw shucks photo of their generational owners it s complete nonsense as fictional as your favorite dime-store novel Once they ve taken your money VCS does not care about you or their reputation So if you like donating your money to a corporation disguised as a homey country store by all means bring your business to VCS If you actually want customer service accountability truthfulness and top notch products you really should look at a different vendor These folks are absolutely not the real deal and in time you will regret your association with them Bad folks who demonstrate daily that they do not care Do yourself a favor stay away from them

Item Never Received - Customer Service Useless
I placed an order on December 1st and 19 days later nothing has arrived Tried to no avail to get a live person to speak with me Finally after waiting on hold for over 30 minutes got a representative who had no ability to help me and said someone would call back within 24 hours I then used the online chat which disconnected me twice Finally someone on the other end typed we shipped it check with UPS then they promptly disconnected the chat Why is the onus on me It s been over 20 days Nothing is coming I m out over 100 Customer service is horrible Not sure about the product as it was never received I would never recommend this store Scam

grinch who stole Christmas with lies
I called CS about the ship date prior to ordering-and she assured me delivery prior to Christmas I wouldn t have ordered otherwise so that s really bad customer service to lie to get a customer to purchase I am thoroughly disgusted by being lied to-like the lie in the email that I had emailed them when I had in fact spoken with CS prior to ordering

I have never even purchased anything
I have never even purchased anything from Vermont Country Store However I have somehow ended up on a marketing engine that refuses to honor my many attempts to stop the incessant emails Direct contact with VCS and assurances I would be removed yielded zero results This company is clearly selling my data and employs terrible policies regarding customer privacy Avoid them

Feels like I m ordering cheap things from China
I had the exact same issue as the last customer I found out that I ordered the wrong size within hours of ordering I ordered last night after hours and I sent a message through the company chat hours before they opened today They also told me the order was packaged and they couldn t replace the correct sizes and couldn t even just cancel the order She offered to send me a return label even though the order hasn t even shipped I decided to pay a higher price for items from this seller because it s marketed like it s an American company with good service I might has well just order cheap things from China if the customer service is going to be the same
