Trading standards need to visit and inspect this place Went to Major League Amapiano South African event and the price of alcohol a total rip off No choice of beer or pints or other alcohols apart from force marketing their own choice of drinks which were overly priced For example only beer available was a Japanese Saki beer in a small 300mls can for 5 80 any whisky s or gin normal double and mixer was 11 and they were promoting a water and alcohol drink for 5 80 in a can smaller than a red bull There was only cheap white wine ridiculously priced a bottle at 28 and you can guess how much a glass was On top of that long waiting in hips at the bar despite a long of staff hanging around behind the bar I have been to many events where I have seen few staff but they were effecient managed well and queues moved a bit faster not 45 mins for extortionate priced alcohol and no choice on offer Security was good but only at the door on entry But once inside people where smoking inside and I mean light up a cigarette smoking and e-cigs were just brown right left and centre and some of us don t smoke but were exposed to smoke as rude people blew cigs in your face Sometimes I could smell weed and yet I wonder how that got through since they seemingly had a sniffer dog and strict searching at the entrance I assume their security search is flawed as certain people had sneaked in whisky bottles and weed There was no security around the awful health hazard toileting situation which was shocking because they use small festival toileting cubicles which were so dirty despite us as being the first ones into the place No one manned the toilets so I had to escort my wife to tucked away dirty cubicles leaking urine outside in the corner of the open warehouse A big health and safety risk going to this place and add the fire hazard of people smoking indoors around you in close proximity whilst majority of security hang around the entrance just like the bar staff My wife was harassed right infront of me by random drunk sweaty men pulling her grabbing her neck or bringing on her forceful dancing and I had to intervene a few times and restrain myself from fighting because there was a lack of security presence in the crowd Once in a while one or 2 security will pass by but no observation or security higher up on the stage to see and communicate what was happening around in the crowd It s very dangerous Some of us have important careers and children to look after and decency and respect and social skills when you go out This was one of the worst night out of my life and it spoiled our experience Major league also can late and started DJ and music at 2am despite entry starting at 8pm and last entry at 11pm That meant enduring the overly priced alcohol dirty festival cubicles indoors instead of building proper toilet facilities and also second hand smoking The DJs and music and Major league were ok but they must know how fans their customers are being treated and enduring in some of these dingy venues with get rich quick schemes by some of these promoters and the safety of customers This I should not be happening in the UK

I would give 0 stars if I could Overpriced overcrowded full of drugs and fighting and worst of all their security staff are disgusting I m a 30 year old woman I went with my husband and we were stood in the wrong place at the wrong time which resulted in a security member of staff kicking me in my chest hitting me to the ground When I raised this to security staff they took me out of the building to talk and wouldn t let us back in Meaning we missed the event we travelled there for and paid for and I got absolutely no help after being assaulted by their own staff NOT a safe place

We went on 21 10 for Ben bohmer and camelphat Sound quality on Ben set was a f g disaster absolutely no words for what happened I should get my money back sound technicians should be fired I would do it better We were unable to have a good time people walking all the time from all directions absolute disgrace This was my last time in this place

SAFETY NOTICE Please all be aware this venue is overcrowded week in week out on purpose they have a Co owner of warehouse projects brother stood on 1of the scanning lanes deliberately not scanning tickets this is so more tickets can be put on sale So the numbers look like if checked are under the capacity limit which they aren t it s profit over people I used to work for them so I know what there doing it s not safe this has been going on for years

This lot are running the concert at Wythenshawe Park on 25th August What they won t tell you until after you have bought the tickets is Passport Driving Licence must be shown upon on entry so no fan2fan resale No water or other liquids no containers food rucksacks umbrellas or anything useful allowed on site You are not allowed to re-enter after you have left the site In other words once you enter you have to buy their overpriced drinks and food for nine hours whilst you get wet I m not going to any more of their outdoor events

Bar Manager and Creepy Men

I would like to of said it was a good night but honestly couldn t think of anything worse spent 80 on two tickets for me and my boyfriend Just to then wait in a queue for 30 minutes for drinks then refused any alcoholic drinks due to me being on drugs and now this is where my night was ruined I m drug tested at work and the most anti-drug person ever to think that they can just accuse people of it when the person next to me was absolutely steaming off them getting served Seems you have to show that you are absolutely leathered in a 30 minute queue for some overpriced alcohol whilst other people are throwing up and barging into us to just get served So i think you may need to sort the bar manager out and check if he actually knows what being on a drugs look like cause ill tell you now i was one of the most sober people in that place Secondly had to protect two girls from a man in a crowd who found every way to try and touch them then ended up asking my boyfriends mate if he had a chance with me when my boyfriend was very clearly stood there he then continued to talk to these two girls and at that point i had to put the girls in front of us and basically form a circle around them he then seemed to move onto other girls who definitely did not seek interest in him So just look out for that loads of weirdos and if you have naturally big eyes or have a RBF don t go because they ll think your on drugs

We had a great night out
