Overpriced ludicrous

Sent a watch to these guys for repair 75 was pretty damn expensive I thought almost the same price as the watch No complaints with the repair however as the mechanism appears to be working fine I then asked if a link in the watch strap could be removed as it was somewhat loose only to be told that yes TWL could do it for 14 99 Ridiculous There s a local guy round the corner who did it for free and it took less than a minute Be prepared to throw plenty of cash at these shysters if you wish to use their service

5 a link

I took my Armani watch to the WATCH Lab to get 3 links removed as it was more than a bit loose on me The gentleman who dealt with me was very professional and even managed to keep a straight face when telling me it would cost me 15 for said job Unfortunately due to time constraints I had to pay the money The work itself was completed within the timescale the boy stipulated but much to my disgust there were no diamonds inserted in the screen to justify the most expensive link removable in loving history

Over priced and gave my watch back unconfigured

50 for a new battery is incredibly steep but I was happy to pay for it as they came across professional and knowledgable After collect my watch and getting home 20 miles away from the Reading branch I realised that the watch configuration was out by 2 seconds I called up and they said to bring the watch back in however I wasn t able to do so Either way I had to spend 30 minutes researching how I fix the issue Not something I expect after paying 50 for a new battery Also no apology was given

Honest Simple review

I used you as a simple experiment and you failed a simple battery exchange turned into a MOT for my watch a friend told me go there and see for yourself it s expensive he was not wrong the staff are nice enough but your too expensive for a simple task I suppose it s the whole franchise thing

Pressure Test

I took my Citizen diver watch for repairs to the Silverburn Glasgow stall Among the requested repairs was a pressure test with certificate I made it clear that the watch would be used in my job as a diver and that I needed to be certain the watch passed a pressure test When I collected my repaired watch I asked Rory not the technician who I spoke with the first time if I could have a pressure test certificate Realising that a certificate was not present Rory performed a pressure test with the intention of issuing a fresh certificate The watch failed this test It seems quite evident that had I not asked I was going to be charged for a test that was never performed Rory then offered to have the watch sent for repair free of charge One hour later I received a call from Rory Using his own initiative Rory had inspected my watch and found that the back seal was warped Rory quickly fixed the problem and returned my watch with a pressure test certificate Had I not questioned the pressure test I would have dived with my watch and caused damage to my watch That damage would not have been covered by my guarantee as the pressure test is not covered by the guarantee It seems evident that no test was performed prior to Rory carrying one out The only reason that I have given two stars instead of one is because of the excellent customer service and professionalism displayed by Rory

Initially good service from watch lab

Initially good service from watch lab silverburn but was left disappointed Paid 70 in September for new battery and strap adjustment Was told watch was looking in good shape after I advised the salesperson it was 15 years old The watch then kept stopping I returned to watch lab to be told that there was no fault with the battery and any watch that age would need a service first I was not told this by the first salesperson before they charged for and installed a new battery The service quote was 180 Disappointed due to spending 70 and having no working watch

Lovely people horrible prices

Lovely people on the desk in Watch Lab Cribbs Causeway but charging 10 for 2 watch batteries is way too much Simply no need for batteries to cost that - even from a real shop
