Fossil watch replacement battery

No problem with the staff who were helpful We were encouraged to have the watch strap cleaned as well as the replacement battery We felt the charges excessive 25 for the battery and 10 for cleaning My husband s watch is a Fossil

My watch repair

I thought the service was fine What I found little odd was that when I collected my watch I asked what work they had done to repair my Mondaine watch but they didn t know It would have been nice to know why my watch had stopped working and what they did to repair it

YORK shop - battery replacement and deep clean

The staff are extremely approachable And many thanks for changing my battery however when sold a deep clean and showed what it should clean I was more than happy for the service Upon collection i put the watch on and left extremely satisfied But once i got home i thought i would have a look at how good the clean was and the initial black marks found between the links was still there i will be returning when im not so busy with work But if i had of known that i was paying for such a terrible job i wouldnt have bothered

Watch repair

Pleased with my watch repair but was told when I left the watch it would be away for about 8weeks instead it was away for nearly 3months never got a phone call to tell me there was a hold up I had to keep phoning the shop for updates then Callum piper would explain the problem only when contacted Make of watch Calvin kline watch stopped working they sent away for service when I picked up the watch no on could tell me what the problem was with the watch would like to have known what the problem was Glasgow shop Buchanan galleries

Apprehension turns to satisfaction

I found that the staff were a little bit OTT and as this was my first encounter I wondered if it wasn t just a bit spivvy I also felt the sales technique was a bit fast and furious and hence pushy I was committing to quite an expensive bill and felt rushed Having said that I was pleased with my Omega when I got it back They had taken years off it The time given for the repairs etc was accurate I would certainly use these guys again now I know the score

Link removals 5 per link

Spot on service if a little expensive for watch repairs and servicing However my other half wanted a watch that they had for sale and although she liked the watch it required links removing Normally this is done as part of the purchase not here The watch required 4 links removing at 5 a go We did not buy the watch purely on principle Include the link removal in the price

Expensive battery change slipshod service

Tissot watch sent to head office for battery change When I returned home from collection discovered that numeric date was correct day wasn t Sent email advising problem not had the courtesy of a reply After experimenting with trying to correct the issue discovered they had set the date as 2015 At their price for a battery change 79 95 I think they should take more care

Omega Seamaster watch

I collected my Omega Seamaster watch back a lot sooner than expected and the watch seems to be working well and is nice and clean To have these kind of watches serviced and repaired properly however is expensive and whilst that is acceptable I would of thought for the price that I paid I would have received some kind of certificate detailing the work that was carried out

I asked for the battery to be changed

I asked for the battery to be changed and pressure tested on a perfectly good working watch at The Watch Hospital in Watford The watch was fully operational and ticking when handed in On my return the watch was found to not be working and was beyond the skills of the operator to repair it I was advised at a large cost to have it sent away to a specialist for a new movement which i did After many e mails Vicky on customer service resolved the problem and kindly return the fee I think the shop operatives have limited experience in this field and I would have a qualified jeweler change the battery in future

Dads Precious Watch

I took my father s watch to be repaired it required 2 numbers replaced on the dial a service a new battery I received a text to say that it was ready for collection on the 11 01 25 on the 18th January I went to collect it and it was not ready I wasn t really surprised because when I took it to the shop the lady behind the counter was quite surly and disinterested in what I was asking to be done she obviously had not submitted my detail request I am in my 80s disabled and to be told it wasn t ready was disappointing and inconvenient however the young man today was totally the opposite he was extremely helpful I went away for about 20 minutes to the watch being ready when I returned I suggest that the young lady is given a pep talk and to work on her contact with customers or given apersonality pill Because it doesn t help the company to have staff like her
