Biltong is nice but very expensive for the amount you get For the premium price I would have expected a better taste

Was quick delivery and good amount of fat which I like but just misses that perfect Biltong flavor

Very tasty but lacking in longevity

I was impressed with the selection of flavours offered by the Weston Biltong Company and so ordered a multi-pack of 10x 250g packs While the flavour is excellent the longevity of the biltong is sadly lacking Other large packs of biltong I have ordered from other suppliers have lasted for weeks on end once opened but the 2 packs of Weston Biltong I have opened so far have become visibly mouldy inside 2 weeks In conclusion great if you plan to eat entire packs in one or two sittings but if not I would look into other options

On this occasion the biltong and droe

On this occasion the biltong and droe wors was really dry not the way I like it I love it moist This was a first but still tasted good Will be ordering again as I find the biltong is by far better than the store brands and not too far off from the South African ones Delivery is always on time too Great customer service

Somewhat disappointed

Somewhat disappointed Product arrived in good time and order However once setup and neat thinly cut less than 2 kg Hung for about 7days and only just started to dry out

Good delivery but very average Biltong and Droewors

Really quick delivery times but I was a bit surprised to read all the glowing reviews I ordered fatty Biltong and was expecting it to be slightly wet - there was hardly any fat on the biltong and it was really really dry The droewors were really chewy and too dry also Was my first order and sadly will probably be my last The flavour on the biltong was great though but the texture was alot drier than I ve had before

Not the best Fatty and gristly with bland flavours

Arrived quick enough and well packaged but it s not the best biltong I ve had There is a fair amount of gristle in the cuts used It s not just one bag but accross all three 250g I ordered The flavours are also tame What I mean as they re bland and not really noticeable I also ordered some droewors and they re grim The fat content is really high to the point it leaves a wax like coating on the roof of your mouth They really are horrible Tried this company over my usual biltong provider of choice and will probably not use again as there are better flavours and quality out there

Bag sizes to big to consume in 3 days

Ordered 1kg of the lean salt and vinegar and I really like it Only problem I have is the 1kg is split into four 250g bags which say should be consumed within 3 days of opening I brought the biltong to have as a snack to accompany my main lunch meal at around 30-50g a go I don t know how I m supposed to realistically eat 250g in 3 days Great product which is even advertised as a healthy snack but now I don t know wether to open anymore as I ll have to throw so much of it away

Short Dated

The Beacon Sparkles I ordered arrived on time and no issue there at all However they arrived on 1st November 2024 with an expiry of December 2024 - this wasn t ideal to see
