Tickets Bolivia poor customer service
On 12th September due to the general strike in Uyuni our buses to Tupiza and back were cancelled First everything looked fine got email from Tickets Bolivia on the evening of the 12th We received the information that the bus from Uyuni to Tupiza on September 12th was cancelled due to a strike on the sector and the return trip will also be cancelled for the same reason Sorry for the inconvenience with the trip We will proceed to a complete refund of the tickets TB- and TB- for it Please allow the following two to three weeks for the refund process to be completed You will receive a confirmation email of the transaction After waiting 4 weeks with no contact we chased the refunds up Finally today 26th October we got confirmation of one refund but an excuse by Tickets Bolivia that they would not refund the Uyuni to Tupiza as the bus company had indicated we had taken the bus How could we have taken a bus that was cancelled due to a strike no transport not even cars were being used as all roads had been blocked I have been chasing them to get confirmation of the second refund has been processed as it should have been but have had no replies to my emails So I m left with no choice but to get the refund recovered via my Credit Card company and to place reviews to warn potential customers to avoid Tickets Bolivia due to the poor customer service

Stay well away from ticketsbolivia we organised a bus trip with them booked flights hotels to coincide a day before starting the trip ticketsbolivia told us our departure had to be cancelled the two options was a bus departure the day after what we booked or pay more money for another bus at the risk of ruining all our other plans we had no choice but to pay more money for a different bus on the original booked date then when we was on the trip they also told us our return trip with them had to be cancelled with the same offer of a different return date or pay more for another bus as before we felt we had no choice but to take the latter option with more expense also this new bus return time on the ticket was 6 00am luckily we went to the bus company s office a day before departure in Uyuni found out the return departure was at 5 00am don t let ticketsbolivia ruin your trip Keep well away

Attention pure fraud and rip-off Dubious I would like to warn all travellers to buy bus tickets online from this company I bought bustickets online entered my credit card details for payment and then completed the order process I was never sent an order confirmation or an eTicket Even after a futile attempt to contact the service afterwards no reaction - so I had to buy a new ticket on the spot Sucre especially the bus terminal and the surrounding area are not a great place to be Best of all The amount of the tickets was charged to my credit card Because of this I tried to contact the service again and described the incident in detail - only a standard answer came back in bad English with the claim that the ticket had been sent This definitely didn t happen - I even contacted the email provider I didn t react at all to new mails Conclusion Hands off Ticketsbolivia com - fraud rip-off and bottomless cheek

I was traveling by bus in Bolivia And decided to buy a ticket online through their website it would seem how convenient but no The bus company because of the strikes could not perform the flight the girls from the company said that the company will refund my money since you bought tickets online then write to themI did and guess what The bus company decided not to give me my money back and booked me on a flight the next day when I was not going anywhere And the company refused to give me money they said they would not help me and if the bus company decided so then fine That is they are not responsible for the fact that their customers were cheated and they were not willing to refund money

SCAM - DO NOT BOOK
I booked return tickets from La Paz to Uyuni on 11 September to depart on 12 September At the time of my booking the company was not operating buses due to blockades but they still allowed me to book and pay money Soon after I was informed by my hostel that no buses would be going to Uyuni I quickly checked with Tickets Bolivia who confirmed this despite happily taking my money that day It has now been 11 weeks and I have not received a refund for my tickets which cost over 100 I have liaised with their customer service department who just keep saying next week though I have now realised these are likely con artists and I will not be receiving the refund at any point Really disappointing that this is just another tour company giving the industry a bad name

I have bought two tickets from Cusco to La Paz Couple days before the trip they said the trip from Puno to La Paz was cancelled I asked them to cancel the booking since I had no other option but to buy new tickets They did not cancel the first trip with the transport company and refuse to refund the payment How can this be possible

Do not use
Do not use especially whilst there are protests They will not refund you and will continue to ignore your emails even if your bus can not reach it s destination due to blockades Not only was the bus station closed from source but there were blockades and violent protests in La Paz where we wanted to go It was therefore impossible for us to get there

Booking works perfect 1star unfortunately this company commissions double the actual price of the ticket One might think it s fine due to low prices anyways I think it s a rip off and not how it works nowadays A maximum of 20 would be normal in travel sector Please if you have the opportunity book the ticket directly at the bus station or from the company you want to go with even though online purchases are so comfortable

No refund Very disappointed
I bought a bus ticket from Calama to Uyuni through this company 2days before the departure they contacted me telling that the bus service was canceled on that date and I need to choose either changing the bus service on another date or canceling the ticket with refund I chose cancelation and have been waiting the refund for already 1 month but not yet received it I have tried to check the status of refund with them but they haven t replied Very disappointed

Be careful and avoid this company they will charge you more than the ticket costs and the customer service won t help you in case of any problems It s better and safer to go to the bus terminal and buy your tickets there
