I went thru 2 crypto accounting software programs before finding Token Tax The others were horrible with no chat or customer service and one took my money knowing they could not even interface with my exchange Complete waste of money I worked with Elle and she was awesome Helped me get everything downloaded and then upload my tax forms I wasted hours with Cointracker which was horrible and took days to email me back telling me they are having issues with Kraken trades coming over I cannot tell you how many hours my accountant and myself wasted trying to figure out why my trades where not showing Thanks for all the help Elle

The software is great thee is of course a learning curve to it but once the information is in place then it works great There customer service is really fast and very helpful with explaining the language of accounting and helping get everything in order For a layman this is a great program and worth every penny

I m new to crypto and I wanted to get a hold of my tax implications the moment I started trading and getting carried away with things I was using uniswap and metamask for defi trading so I wanted something that would be as seamless as possible After hooking up API with my main exchanges I ran into a few issues with synching Sam was absolutely amazing in helping me figure things out She and the team are a wealth of knowledge and always willing to help

Since defi summer 2020 I have been worrying about tax I did lots of home work to find tokentax mainly for its defi related capabilities Though it takes longer then expected to finish all the process overall I feel very lucky to rely on them to generate all token related reports They have demonstrated the highest level of defi understanding This is unbelievable considering the scarcity of defi talent out there Well done TokenTax and my advisory there

If you thought trading on multiple exchanges was a tax headache DeFi is a tax headache on another level entirely I ve tried a handful of other crypto tax websites but none of them are anywhere near as helpful as TokenTax when it comes to DeFi They made it so easy I imported my exchange trading wallets and was 99 reconciled with my current actual token balances within about an hour of cross-checking against Etherscan MakerDAO cdp s Compound loans Uniswap trades all imported pretty seamlessly with just a few more obscure tokens needing a bit of manual entry tweaking Seriously impressive TokenTax is 100 worth the price They are the best

This was my first year 2020 utilizing Token Tax for reporting crypto trades The process was so fast and easy that I was able to import all my trade data from 6 exchanges 5 CEX Uniswap and create a crypto 8949 report in the same day Whenever I did need assistance customer support Devin Elle Ana was there within minutes to give me hand Thank you Token Tax for keeping things simple and also for your excellent customer service

Great software Makes life much easier than having to manually keep a track of transactions If you are trading crypto you defo want to be using Token Tax Also their customer service is outstanding Ive used their online chat when Ive needed help with something Very fast response

They are really just the best team of people true professionals in every way I was once told a good cpa is worth their weight in gold and that couldn t be more true I have used them since 2018 and even had them amend my 2017 returns which I did a horrible job on I had the pleasure of speaking to their leadership when correcting those taxes and it was clear how thoughtful respectful and knowledgeable they were Even when I lost my composure they gave me a lot of grace and it s a real pleasure to work with people who are so genuine and kind hearted it really showed a lot about their character They did it all with fair pricing and clearly explaining to me what the situation was and how we would correct it We live in a country that is not exactly friendly or clear on crypto rules and imho having skilled professionals on your side is the only safe way to invest in crypto without inviting possible issues I ve used them every year since 2018 and even use them on light trading years they do a great job on the other portions of my taxes as well not just the crypto Shoutout to token tax
