Unable to process payment thru paypal but no other business has complained
Placed an order with them and they have trouble with processing a Mastercard payment No phone call No follow up email The order just sat in limbo It was paid for through paypal backed by Mastercard I never ever had a problem with Tower until Horizon took over I now have trouble with payments through Paypal with Tower and Horizon I should say HAD because I am done with them Another note for Canadians They show shipping by postal parcel when placing the order but when it is being processed they show UPS We pay minimum handling fees through the post office but we get ripped off on fees from UPS so this is very disappointing Also free shipping in the USA to members but shipping minus a 9 99 credit for Canadians just so they can advertise that you will get your money s worth as a member

Warning Do not order from them
I should have read the reviews on this company before I placed an order I would never have made an order with Placed an order with them and they gave No phone call No follow up email No confirmation no order number no tracking number it s been almost a week since I ordered The order is just sat in limbo Called an emailed too many times to count still have not received any confirmation WARNING WARNING DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT AND THE ORDER PROCESSING WILL ROB YOU OF YOUR ONE-DAY SHIPPING NO SENSE IN PAYING EXTRA SHIPPING WITH THESE GUYS BECAUSE THEY WILL NEVER SHIP IT OUT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE Was told I was going to get a call back from a supervisor on the 23rd 540-915-4449 Joseph never received

Being based in the U K I used to use Tower Hobbies when the exchange rate was favourable However they no longer allow international orders Shame used to be a great website easy to find spare parts

Customer service is horrific
I bought a bunch of stuff on backorder Once it was available the geniuses as Towerhobbies shipped every item as individual packages This meant I had to pay shipping and import duties on each item One of the items was 1 and shipping 33 Towerhobbies said it is company policy to send backorders as soon as possible So even though these invoices all follow sequentially on each order meaning they were available at the same time they still decided to ship individually When I contacted customer care it is as if you are communicating with a robot programmed to say the same things They are not willing to see your side of the story of answer very specific questions Worst customer service ever

I have been fair disappointed with the services lately I placed an order on Monday I have yet to receive an email about my purchase going through or any information on when it will be shipped out I called customer service and they informed me that everything looked good they are just waiting on it to process and it would ship this afternoon That has yet to happen Hansell Vonier

I placed an international order
I placed an international order 12 05 2019 it shipped on December 6th it s been over a month and I am still waiting on my order Have called Tower Hobbies have sent emails and their customer service is lousy My package was supposed to arrive from 7 to 14 days now I do not want it and cannot process a claim or ask for a refund until the package arrives Then I have to send it back if I want my money back Is my last time buying from them

If you enjoy a 1-way shopping experience
If you enjoy a 1-way shopping experience rude staff no consideration for customer support etc then this is your company They won t even let you make minor changes to your order before it ships Every interaction with them over the past two years has been horrible Received damaged products wrong products etc and I had to fight each time and often get stuck with fees and return shipping even if not my fault I ve been a customer for over 20 years but never again Do NOT buy from this company Horrible

No one home If you shop and I hope you don t at Tower Hobbies Do Not expect customer service if you need it - They offer robot online chat - Their customer support page responds that they are overwhelmed and provides you a useless case number - Shipping is SLOOOOW- Tower Hobbies is NO MORE I have two open cases with NO response from Tower Hobbies

1st class service died at Tower Hobbies
I ve used Tower Horizon since the 80s they used to have thirst customer service in the business Sadly it s no longer true I don t call much anymore but after 2 years I have a lost shipment and I find out Tower Horizon no longer offer a voice line for anything As long as you never need support you re ok But everyone will need support at some time Avoid Tower Horizon there are other RC Hobby stores that still answer and support their products I m not advertising so look it up and enjoy peace of mind knowing your products and money will be well spent and CUSTOMER SERVICE AVAILABLE

Lure you in with Coupons Rebates you can t use
I purchased a very larger order Slash Ultimate w many accesories expected to get at least 40 e-cash to spend Only to find out that my 40 e-cash expired in 5 days from my order it expired before my order was delivered even shipped RC is a big time hobby and requires constant work parts I will never go back to Tower Hobbies regardless of pricing discounts coupons rebates
