Poor customer communication

Ordered 2 x James Wellbeloved packs of 40x150g wet food and had exactly that confirmed by email What was delivered was 12 of 12x90g packs So total food weight slightly more but I cannot make up the 300g of meal for my dog Would have been simple for Trusty Pet Supplies to make a call to me to advise of the replacement and check I still want it but no they chose to just send anyway and tough on the customer

Feeder missing from delivery

Delivery of the bird food was good as always but I also ordered a bird feeder which was missing from the delivery Emailed to report this say they would look into it sent them copy of receipt haven t heard any more from them now 5 days sent another email If you phone them message to say email

Items sent were incorrect

Some items sent were incorrect Returning these items was straightforward via Royal Mail link provided by Trusty Pet Supplies However on the morning of the booked collection times Royal Mail did not come I had to drop the parcel off at the post office No telephone number for customer service is a minus

Late delivery

I placed my order for 3 x200g of a product and paid for next working day delivery As I ordered on a Sunday I thought it would arrive by Tuesday this was not so I contacted the company who told be DPD had made a mistake and I would receive my order on Thursday at this point I asked for a refund on my delivery charge which the agreed to do Thursday arrive still no delivery it eventually arrive on the Friday morning 5 days after I ordered it also I received 12 x 50g not 3 x 200g so alot of extra repackaging for recycling

Damaged and Defrosted

The packaging is poorly padded with inadequate insulation As a result of this we had many items that were semi or fully defrosted and nearly everything in hard plastic packaging was cracked Not a good combo as raw food can be juicy I emailed them to inform then of the issue but had no response This happened in January I dread to think how much worse it would be in the summer months I m disappointed because they have a good range of raw food at reasonable prices but I can t risk losing 100 dog food in future

The item 25kg of peanuts

The item 25kg of peanuts comprising two 10kg bags and a 5kg bag in a strong cardboard box arrived extremely promptly as usual but one of the 10kg bags had a clean 9 gash in its celophane wrappings as if inflicted by a sharp knife causing half the contents to disgorge themselves into the box As the box itself was well sealed and totally undamaged I can but presume that the celophane bag was knowingly packed into it in this condition

Damaged parcel via DPD from Kingsway

Used them lot of times always had good service and given 5 Star but this time can only give 2 due to DPD delivering parcel soaking wet and falling apart with 2 small items missing Rang number on invoice was told could not help due to warehouse next door only available via help email so emailed them and asked if someone could come and see what problem was as I only live 2min up road from them and i can not send photos on line that was 9 days ago still awaiting reply

I placed an order half the items were not in stock so I was refunded Another item was ordered and the wrong size was shipped

I am still awaiting 2 of my 3 items of my order and although i presume this is down to DPD it does mean i am left without knowing a delivery date if it is delivered at all I would suggest another courier

Now sorted after 50 Item missing from Recent big order of 140 9712kg of

Update 18 July 2023I have now received the missing item from my Order so I have amended my review from 1 to 3 stars to reflect this The issue was handled reasonably well Recent big order of 140 97 of 12kg of dog food 10kg of cat food One box of one delivered claiming to be 22kg and include both items along with invoice for full price Where is my 2nd item No cat food included I will revise my opinion of Trusty Pet Supplies if they efficiently resolve this problem I have emailed and will phone when their office is next open My first experience of this company and so far not good
