ubreakifx should be named ubreakibreakitmore

At the advice of the HP Forum I was advised to take HP ENVY dv7 Notebook PC to ubreakifix as they are the authorized company for hinge repairs on this PC Brought unit in to repair was told repair would require replacing top case and bottom housing assembly which had to be ordered from overseas When parts arrived I was notified to bring PC in for repair The PC was running fine when I brought it the only problem was with the hinges I inquired about the status of the repair the next day and was told that it was apart and that no one was working on it Finally the manager called me back on the following day and told me that it would not boot up and that it was not repairable The PC was working fine when I dropped it off I would not have brought in a non-operable PC for a hinge repair I have no way of knowing exactly what happened but I suspect that the unit was damaged when it was first taken apart to replace the case The manager refused any responsibility for damaging the PC beyond repair and suggested that I file a claim Although I waited the required 30-days to file a claim the claim was denied because the damage by ubreakifx was done within the 30-day waiting period Warning beware of technicians at ubreakifx they should rename it ubreakibreakitmore These comments ARE definitely with regard to Ubreakifix USA They have nothing to do with U Break I Fix Amsterdam Holland the Netherlands I have no idea where that came from Ubreakifix 4333 S Tamiami Trail Sarasota Florida

They are Scammers

My phone is now broken because of them I cannot post on Instagram or Facebook Also I have to turn the phone sideways in order to send messages on my gmail Also I have to turn the phone sideways in order for me to search YouTube Plus I cannot play music on YouTube music On top of that you all used cheap glue and the phone almost came apart 135 waisted I should have let it stay broken

Dishonest people

ubreakifix Charlotte NC Galleria BlvdAt T directed me to Samsung who in turn sent me to this location to fix an issue the Galaxy Flip has been having with the screen bubbling at the fold They apologized that it has been an issue with the flip phones and assured me it is covered under the warranty and I would not be charged for repair When I first called ubreakifix they told me they would charge me Then after I spoke with the Samsung rep again and called them ubreakifix Charlotte back they told me to bring it in and said they would fix it free of charge as long as this was the first time - whatever that means and the guy was reluctant and rude Then AFTER I drove 20 minutes to get there they doubled down on insisting on a charge First the employee tried to tell me it wasn t covered under the warranty - only the screen not the screen protector Then he took my case off and pointed to minor wear and tear scratches on the outside bottom of the phone clearly from placing it in my car holder as damage and imply that was somehow making my screen bubble which made it ineligible for coverage without a charge Ridiculous and unhelpful crooks Completely dishonest Samsung should not be doing business with them and neither should anyone else

Terrible customer service at this one Despite 2 calls to verify they had the parts AND setting an appointment I came in only to find out that they didn t have the parts for the repair Totally abhorrent

This is the worst company and people They lie string you along and have no idea how to communicate I brought an iPad in for a new screen as it was cracked and they broke the iPad replacing the screen They told me they could fix it snd ten days later nothing I had to chase after them to retrieve my iPad and they refused compensation Stay away from this place they lie and cheat Definitely scammers and I wish I read these reviews before going

Went to get my screen fixed They fixed my screen but ended up breaking one of my phones speakers and made my phone way slower despite these problems never coming up before They really couldn t have checked this before they gave it back to me

FRAUD - BEWARE

Have never had such horrible service in my life We dropped off a working iPad with a cracked screen When we received the repair the home button was not attached and was floating under the screen We dropped it off again and when it was returned for the second time the new screen was no longer fully attached the home button wasn t fixed and the iPad no longer works They refuse to refund my money - I had to file a complaint with my CC company BEWARE - THEY ARE A FRAUD

Waste of my time

Booked an appt on Monday to get my iPhone screen fixed on the Thursday I even got a phone called on the Tuesday of a confirmation of said appointment And a text reminder the day before Showed up at my appointment on Thursday and they said they didn t have the part aka the screen for my iPhone type So why did they waste my time and not call beforehand Really cool

long waiting time and unauthorized charges

Extremely long waiting time and they charged me an additional 120 for a service performed without my approval Unbelievable I waited for about 1 5 hours in line to pick up my phone Even worse there were only a few chairs so you have to STAND for the entire duration I made an appointment but it didn t save me any time There was only one staff at the reception desk and it was very very slow They should at least have more chairs for customers to sit in while waiting The experience was so terrible

Huntersville location TERRIBLE

Samsung sent Huntersville NC a repair ticket and they didn t even try to look it up Tried to charge me almost 400 for a job Samsung support tech said would cost me 70 and then magically couldn t fix it Got a second repair ticket sent to them that they once again didn t try to look up Asked if they could retrieve my contacts and photos and transfer to my new phone was told they could do it no problem Found out later they couldn t do it and broke my phone back in the process and didn t even tell me Husband showed me the damage and they denied doing it then after much of a fuss they later said they did it while trying to fix it and that s what happens when they try to repair the screen Easily one of the laziest most inept group of phone tech people EVER
