Twenty days ago I placed my order after being told it would take 5-7 business days to ship out the engine that they had in stock 5 business days went by and I received a call saying they were short staffed and it would take another 5-7 business days to ship out the engine that they had in stock After another 4 business days I was called again and told they would issue a refund because the engine they had in stock didn t meet their standards That seems like a good thing but the email they sent me stated that the engine was damaged in transit and that because I was unwilling to wait for another engine they would be issuing a refund There was no option to wait for another engine They said they didn t have one and damaged in transit was also a lie or that they had one in stock was a lie It has been 20 days since I sent them my money and i haven t gotten it back yet This all seems like a scam If you need an engine look elsewhere Update they still haven t refunded my money Update they said the wire transfer should be in my account on the 6th It s now the 13th and I still haven t received any money or any attempt to resolve I continue to be talked down to and repeatedly lied to

This is a scam I ordered an engine on 6 3 told it was in stock and would deliver in 4-5 business days It did not sow so I CALLED THEM It was delayed They said I d have it in a few business days IT DIDN T SHOW They didn t call me I CALLED THEM This went on for 6 total delays I missed my window for using a friend and his shop to do this quickly I canceled my order and asked for a prompt refund on 6 30 Now it s been 11 days since I asked for my money back and no satisfaction no product and poor customer service 0 stars for Paul Adams David Turner and Nick Brown

SCAM ALERT DONT BELIEVE THE GOOD REPORTS THEY ARE FAKE Used engines In in Houston TX is literally and scam and crooked company DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM They charge for crap engines and to not stand by their word They sent a rusted unusable piece of junk and if it weren t for my bank s support I would be out all my 3K Do not trust anything they say they are scam artist I cancelled my order soon after our mechanic received the shipment and confirmed it was unusable But it took months before they sent a refund in and then they subtracted 781 75 out of the total When they agreed no restocking fee we offered to ship the equipment back they didn t want the piece of crap that they sent if that tells you anything They Literally sell junk and shaft people out of their money luckily I have a very reliable bank in the Dispute Department that helped but so far they still owe me an additional refund of 781 75

UPDATE - after I left my last review Alan contacted me I was told that in order to receive a refund I would lose 25 but he could get me a better motor shipped out by that Thursday or I would get a full refund Thursday came and surprise surprise no motor shipped David told me he would refund my order and I would receive an email Friday with the confirmation Here we are on Wednesday with no email and he is ignoring our calls He also told my husband that he couldn t mail the refund check until I updated my negative review Until I can receive a refund my negative reviews will remain I placed an order on July 23rd and it s September 8th I have no motor and I m out almost 8 000 and can not get my money returned PLEASE do not do business with this company Houston Police department told me that scammers like these pay people or either make up profiles to leave the good reviews Please don t be fooled like I was If I ever receive my refund I will post an update

Ordered engine from them Wrong engine arrived the first time along with broken parts Called and they sent me another engine 2 weeks later which ended up being the wrong engine again This guys WILL NOT help you in anyway to get a refund They will continue to not return calls or voicemails They will continue to send wrong items I score them an F-

Read warranty and compare it to swengines A known scam If you order a engine get the owners name You will need it for the lawsuit The warranty states they don t cover anything after it had 3 thousand miles on it The warranty is worthless The reason you don t have record of me is they scammed my daughter Father s

I was misinformed on so many things when purchasing the motor that I got First thing I was told was that they worked on the weekend which they don t Than I was told that I would receive a complete motor to include valve cover which I did however the valve covers were cracked and couldn t be used So I had to hunt for them which wasn t an easy task for the motor I have I had to unload the motor from a semi truck because the driver couldn t come up the hill to my mechanic shop where all of his equipment was to move a motor Oh it was all around one headache after another with this company I don t recommend them to anyone

Charged me for a tail gate lift I didn t need and told them so That was supposed to lower price to 775 No worries they said we will refund you the money on Zelle Money never came then they called to tell us since they couldn t refund the money they would just take it off total bill They did not Biggest scam I have ever been through I have your emails promising refunds that never came I live on social security and you have scammed an old lady You will honor the promises you made to me or I will not honor the anything from you

Update to Kevins Response to my review below Apparently Kevin you re either unaware or don t care what con Alan is pulling you still have not refunded my account even though you now have possession of the engine citing that your refund button is disabled unless I close my bank dispute for your FRAUD Your company has cost me time money and frustration and it was only AFTER I opened disputes and complained to regulators and the bank that you wanted to pick up your junk engine under the pretense of giving a refund Anyone having the same problems should contact FTC Attorney General BBB and open a bank dispute DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

This place is a giant room full of dudes who put a bunch of American names in a hat and drew who they were going to be They re CLASSIC bait and switchers I UPGRADED to a 2016 38K engine PAID FOR IT A MONTH later they sent me a 2015 engine with unknown mileage that is now leaking as much oli as the one I replaced Rather than cover the repairs they fell back on the fine print Technicalities like the year and mileage of the engine you purchased don t matter but leaking seals do Litigation has begun Their accreditation with the BBB has been pulled Their positive reviews are fake bought and paid for RUN AWAY
