Vasa is a terrible gym

Vasa is a terrible gym Do not join When you cancel they make it very difficult and charge and extra month if you don t give them exactly 30 days notice on top of the yearly membership charge which you don t receive a prorated refund The customer service people are not kind but rather cold and disinterested probably because they have to deal with unhappy customers because of their unethical policies I would never recommend them to anyone

Absolute Criminals we tried to cancel

Absolute Criminals we tried to cancel several times but they wouldn t let us without charging us a 25 00 even though we had been members for 6 months which our contract said was the timeline for the cancelation fee to no longer apply We kept getting charged each month The people we finally got to talk to were dishonest Please learn from our mistakes DON T SIGN UP WITH THESE CRIMINALS Cost me 200 I ll never get back

I wish I could have given a zero star Don t ever go to Vasa dealing with their customer service is AWFUL They will steal your money and have zero remorse for it Horrible company

Zero stars if I could They offer no option to freeze or cancel your account if you have an unexpected financial hardship They keep your account open for months charging you fees and monthly membership even if you don t go to the gym and they refuse to let you cancel until you make the back payments This puts people in a position where they have to wait several months to cancel the membership because the fees keep piling up keeping you in an endless debt cycle I will never let anyone I know go there again

Never been involved with a gym who cares so little about the members With the new owners it s gone from an enjoyable friendly atmosphere to Moneygrabbers who could care less what you think

Literally the worst gym I ve ever been

Literally the worst gym I ve ever been to I never go out of my way to bash a company even when it s a horrible experience But because this gym decided to start charging my card for a membership over 6 months after I cancelled so here I am I could not get ahold of their bullsh t customer service line to figure out why these charges were on my card I ended up having to cancel my credit card Which then resulted in VASA Fitness sending my account to a collections agency

This is a dishonest company

This is a dishonest company The gym was average but the ability to close your membership was a nightmare You can sign up at the gym but not cancel there The manager said she would take care of it but I was still being billed 6 months later I contacted their customer service 70 minute wait time and they said it was take care of I next checked my billing 7 months later and they were still charging me After over 200 of overpaying I hope things are finally resolved but now I have to spend my time checking Find ANY OTHER GYM

Ho-ly crap-ola

Ho-ly crap This place is just as bad if not worse than going to a used car dealership I went to the Villa Park IL location I signed up for the STUDIO membership 34 99 plus Kidcare 10 for 44 99 month plus the once a year 49 99 rate lock in fee Fine with me But they had a 44 99 fee on my bill listed as first month dues even though the first month was supposed to have been charged the day of sign up I thought that was weird so I contacted their customer service They took that charge off but the next day dropped me down from a STUDIO to Fitness membership and charged me 44 99 for it more than double what it was worth originally 19 99 Then 6 hours later added ANOTHER 14 onto my membership price and charged me extra for Kidcare that s supposed to be included ALL WITHIN 72 HOURS OF SIGN UP Customer service is closed for the weekend but you have until midnight on the 3rd day after signing up to cancel for free so I did I later realized that the first month fee is literally the fee that was supposed to be charged to my account the day I signed up but it never was because of that 3 day grace period I assume But that was also not disclosed with me and that makes me uneasy Im not going to give them the chance to charge me unnecessarily and lock me into an outrageous rate and hope they will change it I d like to work it out but Im honestly kindof scared to stay with them at this point Sucks cause my daughter really liked it and so did I aside from this I ll probably have to pay an arm and a leg to go to a similar place but its not worth getting hit with hidden fees and a contract that isnt even followed by the company that wrote it Absolutely disgusting company which is especially sad because even the people that work there seem to like their job and will help you out and answer all your questions either that or they are just really great at putting on that mask Was seriously looking forward to getting back into the gym scene but depending on what happens on Monday I ll likely be taking my money elsewhere

I only wish I had read these reviews before signing up VASA Fitness is organized crime for sure I will give -5 stars if I could They lure you in and then lock you in Its almost impossible to cancel your membership I have been to this gym only 3 times and They have been charging every month tried to cancel and they have been tossing me up and down While charging me double each month for late fees STAY AWAY FROM VASA FITNESS IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU
