A theif is more trustworthy than venmo
Well damn right over the venmo overviews I will be making sure that nobody i know ever uses this service again I have already been told by multiple of my friends that they have pulled their money out In total once venmo ever releases my money before I get them hit with so much litigation they can t even afford to live in caves me and a groups of 20 people are closing our accounts at the same exact time So maybe when venmo gets the notice that a swarm of people left at one time the owner will climb out of his bathroom and try to finally notice what s going on Cuz looking at the fact that they have a 1 2 rating on trustpilot just goes to show that man don t give a crap

Robbery is against the law I have read other reviews and they are going though the same thing I am Keep freezing my account with no explanation User agreement what did I do wrong with user agreement they won t explain I contacted them again today the guy tells me its because I have more then one account then he looks and can clearly see himself that I don t He said he don t see any reason for them to freeze my account This is not the first time they have done this either Then gonna take them 7 to 10 days to look at my account it don t take them 7 to 10 days to freeze it Now say they are suspending my account and will hold my money for 180 Days WHAT that is nowhere near fair What for it s my money give it to me BBB needs to take a good look at them they will probably find that they do this to a lot of people On reviews they need to start letting people give negative stars I RATE VENMO A - 5 Stars Then on review date of experience since I started the account always something going on

Constant bombardment of someone is trying to access your account Don t they have ANY safeguards on the front end of their service How are hackers getting to my actual account Takes me 5 minutes to get to my account page with two factor authorization Transfers take 3-5 days unless you transfer with a debit card same account why the difference Lame service no actual support reps and feels completely unsafe UNSAFEZERO CUSTOMER SERVICEZERO CUSTOMER PROTECTIONOWNED BY PAYPAL

Venmo suspended my account for no reason and no explanation Then they canceled my venmo card and kept my I followed the instructions sent to me several times over several weeks They still have my account suspended and they still have my and will not respond PLEASE DONT USE THIS APP IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR

I think many of us want to believe all people are good people and if something shady happens the company will work with you to rectify the situation Venmo is a terrible company and has no interest in helping customers Don t put yourself or your family at risk Just do things the old fashion way

A US Citizen with all US Bank accounts address and tax filings cannot open a Venmo account with a Mexican AT T cell phone or a Google Voice number Do I have this ridiculous policy correct You should also STOP giving callers incorrect advice I could 100 use your App or login online from anywhere in the world with a VPN DO NOT tell people that your app doesn t work outside the US I have never seen a more backwards useless service

Stay far away from this company
Stay far away from this company I paid for instant transfer of a payment made to me and a day later and still don t have my money This is after spending almost 45 minutes on the phone with customer service to make sure everything was copasetic so I wouldn t have this problem after their numerous attempts to push push push me into using their BS robot automated systems I m now living the embarrassment and additional costs of bouncing checks Turns out Venmo is directly associated with PayPal another joke these days Save yourself from grief and use Zelle instead where I ve never had a problem Calls to Venmo are useless ALL my info is verified including my bank info and all I get from them is that their security system has stopped the transfer They said all I can do is select standard transfer This is clearly a scam so they can use your money for free for the 1 to 3 business days it may take to see your money Avoid this company like the plague

Complete lack of protection
My wife was scammed by someone who accepted venmo payment and failed to deliver item Had to file police report but Venmo took no action to help her pull back or challenge the transaction She spent three hours getting the runaround with venmo customer support I didn t even get the runaround when a hacker or scammer compromised the account of a known vendor I ve used in the past Impossible to reach a human on the phone Chat was an AI nightmare Total lack of support or any consumer protection to challenge payment made in error or to a compromised account
