This review is for their life insurance and murdered veterans
This review is for their life insurance for seniors It says NO MEDICAL EXAM needed THAT IS BECAUSE the way they write up the accidental exclusions clause of the policy Practically EVERYTHING is accidental Disease sickness for example So pretty much hardly anyone just GOES TO SLEEP and dies People who live to be 80 or 90 eventually die of something failing Heart gives out which would fall under heart disease even though it fails as we age SO yea they don t ask for medical exam alot of other life insurance ask basic questions and approve if you have some chronic diseases and they don t have accident exclusions that include vaguely the words illness or disease It is horrific to be the organization who is supposed to be reporting scams on veterans and they are the ones scamming For the record also they have supposed to be going after all the fraud at the VA yet over 300K veterans were killed according to the VAOIG by willful acts of neglect or hiding applications for care THIS was reported in the NEWS even I personally read the VAOIG very long report of that investigation NOT ONE person was held accountable If a private hospital had killed people waiting for care by willful acts of throwing away hiding in desks applications for care or lying on vets saying they got their care already people would be in jail and there would be massive media coverage on it YET the VFW has done NOTHING to demand such people be held accountable THE VAOIG CHOSE to not refer people to prosecution FEDERAL statutes were violated and is crimes when lying on vets saying they got their appointments already OR refused them and thus denied their benefits There have been other investigations where VAOIG found dozens of thousands of veterans denied because staff was lying saying they refused appointments or got them already THIS AFTER the VAOIG report of OVER 300K veterans died waiting for care due to neglect AND willful acts of deception by VA staff as the VAOIG and other reports show PLUS lying in medical records is ALSO a crime in itself YET with all the glory VFW claims and gets and supposed to be out to help veterans the VA has killed over 6 Vietnam wars worth of veterans according to the VAOIG own report with ZERO people held accountable GO READ the actual report of the VAOIG not media reports go read the ACTUAL investigation report of how these veterans died waiting for care by people lying and hiding applications or lying saying they refusing care or already got care THEY DO THIS ALLLLLL the time because they get by with it I have been veteran for 30 years and they have done it over and over and over yet VFW where was their cry for prosecution of the ones killing over 300k veterans WHERE IS IT NOW as they still remain un-prosecuted for the genocide done on over 300k veterans HERE Is link to article on it but go read the actual VA OIG report https www militarydotcom daily-news 2015 09 04 ig-report-300000-veterans-died-while-waiting-health-care-va html remove word dot and remove spaces for it to work LET US NOT ignore the fact that VFW gets millions yet so many veterans remain homeless WHERE IS THE CRY for the dead vets due to VA neglect be prosecuted Sure is not with VFW who takes money for veterans senior life insurance policy that everything you die from is excluded accidental death

STAY AWAY
I am a severely disabled veteran The VFW was my service organization When the VA proposed to reduce my rating the VFW wouldn t even return my calls or e-mails multiple over weeks to discuss the problem Absolutely garbage tier service organization On top of this in 2019 they provided extremely poor advice which led to this proposed reduction I wanted to appeal a decision and they adamantly refused to do so This should be my choice in the end Under no circumstances should you trust the VFW with anything important nor do they deserve your donations Ever

I selected Florida VFW as my VSO for
I selected Florida VFW as my VSO for increased compensation claim VA I sent Jason the requested information and he said he would get back to me within a week to go over my claim once he received my records I waited 3 weeks nothing I contacted Jason s office by phone nobody answered I sent emails nothing After several attempts to reach by phone and email I finally withdrew VFW as my agent after 6 weeks I notified Jason by email of my withdrawl and LO AND BEHOLD Jason emailed me within 5 minutes It was obvious he was getting my previous messages just didn t bother to respond He was arrogant and condescending and said he was busy with PACT act claims and that I would just have to wait my turn that it was fine with him if I wanted to withdraw VFW as my claim VSO I notified the VFW national office and let them know of my experience not sure anything was ever done I served 30 years active duty and have been a life member of the VFW for 27 years I ve never felt more disrespected Though the VFW does a lot of good things for members and the military community in general based on my experience I would suggest going elsewhere when looking for a VSO to handle your claim

Disrespect of a warrior
A VFW warrior was in the hospital the ambulance took her from the VFW 1182 with heart issues One of the members called her while she was in the hospital and ask her when was she getting out to move her car from the parking lot They was expecting a bus load to come to a ceremony Is this how you treat your warriors

As a member of the VFW we take pride in
As a member of the VFW we take pride in our Post and our community And as Post members we wear our specific items that our unique to the Post As of late there are very bothersome aspects to this We have to purchase these specific items from the VFW store Here s where the problem starts You order the item then wait for your money to clear the system This takes up to ten days This is a problem Even the smallest business will only take a day or two to complete Next we have members that are on active duty The delay can create havoc with their bank accounts especially if they are on deployment This can cause reprimands and potentially end a career for some To have the VFW cause a problem like this certainly isn t helping Veterans The system needs to be updated and implemented to help the Veterans They also have to realize that those that are purchasing from the VFW store are customers Lastly the items take absolutely forever to arrive There are many companies that provide embroidery services that take less than 10 days The VFW store will take over 8 weeks for hats and shirts to arrive This is completely unacceptable This hurts the program because the program doesn t support its members customers in a timely manner We are constantly trying to recruit new members and told retention is down This is a very large factor in why the VFW is failing it s own We are customers and expect to be treated as a customer should be in a timely fashion Customer service is clueless This ALL needs to be fixed immediately
