Blink-182 Tickets

Me and my friend bought the tickets at the start of the year without reading the reviews of how untrustworthy the site really is I was so worried over not getting the tickets but a week or two before the concert we actually got them Although I was relieved I still had a bit of anxiety thinking they would be fake In the end we got through and had an absolute blast I have to give only 3 stars because of the low reputation the company has and the worry of not getting the tickets we paid a lot of money for

Red Hot Chili peppers

Bought 2 tickets for Red Hot Chilli Peppers at the Tottenham hotspur stadium Paid a little over the ticket master price Got the tickets I paid for by electronic transfer 2 days prior to the event No problems at all however I would say it s quite nerve wracking waiting for them to come through after reading some really bad reviews

Troublesome to start but came good in the end

After a last minute panic when my tickets were lost and some agitated calls to viagogo they refunded and offered a voucher so I could purchase some expensive last minute tickets for Luke Coombs at the O2 The whole ticket experience was painful but seeing Luke Combs tonight was worth all the pain Thanks viagogo for coming good and giving me this memorable experience

The System Worked BUT

Booked tickets for Patriots game in Frankfurt for husband s 50th birthday only after reading reviews did I realise that viagogo are a third party re seller who don t actually have the tickets I paid x5 times the face value of the tickets and stressed the whole time that a we wouldn t get the tickets b get the tickets but get to the gate and the tickets wouldn t work Thankfully I had the tickets through 10 days before the event and as we d travelled to Frankfurt paid for flights and accommodation there was a lot riding on it Luckily for us the tickets worked I d printed them off and downloaded them as PDF s on my phone I had to scan my printed ticket but my husband had to scan the QR code from the PDF ticket on his phone We were both extremely relieved So all in all the system worked and the customer services were very responsive to my concerns all the way along HOWEVER I won t be using viagogo again as it s just not worth the stress or the risk especially if your travelling and have extra costs We also discovered later on that on ticketmaster we could of got a hospitality package for slightly less than what I d paid through viagogo and I would also say that these sites should not be allowed

Tickets worked but won t use again

After months of stress and anxiety and having to pay a extremely high price for the tickets and stressing our tickets were fake or something going wrong we finally got to see Luke combs last night we got in without any fuss and everything went to plan The lead up to the event I was in contact with viagogo about my tickets and they was quite helpful and quick to answer the phone and emails Regardless of everything going to plan I will not use them again

I got my Luke Combs tickets for

I got my Luke Combs tickets for Manchester from here charged way over face value and the stress caused by other reviews about not getting in being scammed made me worry about not getting in the whole night luckily we did with no issues and had a fab night However the extreme prices and overall reputation needs to be sorted out It isn t nice worrying about not getting into an even you spent your hard earned money on

Very Expensive but benefit of the doubt before the event

I would give the benefit of the doubt but made the mistake of not checking Trustpilot This site has so much negative So here goes Booking is slick and easy cancelling same day and almost 2 months ahead is not possible Price is almost double that of similar seats from Ticketmaster for Tom Jones Their T C s well down in the marathon read at 6 8 on page 6 and states All sales and bids are final No refunds cancellations or exchanges Stay calm and let s see what happens and hope to follow up with a more positive

The Tickets Worked

Received tickets a day after ordering and after reading reviews I was worried about them being fake but they worked completely fine The process was smooth and aside from the fact that I paid more than double the initial price Viagogo was ok

Well first and foremost I hadn t heard

Well first and foremost I hadn t heard about this company prior to booking my tickets I was redirected here after going on Ticketmaster thinking I was going to get it from there But nonetheless I booked tickets to go and see Mo Gilligan After purchasing I thought I should read the reviews and I was sooo nervous and freaking out after all the bad reviews this was a surprise for my boyfriend but I was freaking out so much I needed the reassurance so I told him the day of just in case we went there and they didn t work but they did the tickets arrived and ready for download a week prior to the event everything was fine no hesitation no problems Not sure if I would use this site again due to the panic attacks and overpricing but it does work

Frequently Asked Questions

Viagogo is a global online secondary ticket marketplace. It connects buyers and sellers of tickets for live entertainment events such as concerts, sports matches, theatre shows, and festivals. The platform operates via viagogo.co.uk and functions as a fan-to-fan resale marketplace, not as an official primary ticket seller or box office.

Sellers list tickets they wish to resell on the Viagogo platform, setting their own price. These listings are then displayed to potential buyers. Prices are determined by sellers and can differ from the original face value based on demand and other factors. Viagogo charges a service fee to buyers on top of the ticket price, and sellers pay a commission fee upon a successful sale.

Viagogo offers a wide range of event categories. These include Concerts & Festivals for music events, Sports for matches and tournaments, Theatre & Arts for shows and performances, and Family & Attractions for experiences like comedy shows and theme parks. The inventory is searchable and extensive.

No, Viagogo is not an official box office or primary ticket seller. It is a secondary marketplace where individuals resell tickets they have purchased elsewhere. The platform facilitates these transactions between third-party sellers and buyers.

About Viagogo

Viagogo: A Global Secondary Ticket Marketplace

Viagogo operates as a prominent global online marketplace, connecting buyers and sellers of tickets for live entertainment events. Based in the UK and accessible via viagogo.co.uk, the platform facilitates the resale of tickets for a vast array of events, including concerts, theatre performances, sports matches, and festival experiences. Its core function is to provide a digital space where ticket holders can sell tickets they can no longer use, and fans can search for and purchase tickets to events that may be sold out through primary outlets.

How the Marketplace Operates

The website operates on a straightforward principle. Sellers list their tickets on the platform, setting their own price. Viagogo then displays these listings to potential buyers. It is important for users to understand that Viagogo is a secondary market, meaning it is not an official box office or primary ticket seller for the events listed. Prices are determined by individual sellers and can be significantly higher or lower than the original face value, influenced by demand, timing, and seat location. The platform charges a service fee to buyers on top of the ticket price, and sellers are also subject to a commission fee upon a successful sale.

Event Categories and User Experience

Viagogo.co.uk features an extensive and searchable inventory. Users can browse events by major categories such as:

  • Concerts & Festivals:Tickets for music artists across all genres and major music festivals.
  • Sports:Access to football matches, rugby games, tennis tournaments, motor racing, and other sporting events.
  • Theatre & Arts:Listings for West End shows, musicals, plays, ballet, and opera performances.
  • Family & Attractions:Tickets for theme parks, comedy shows, and other live experiences.

The website and associated mobile apps are designed for ease of use, with search functions, interactive seating maps for many venues, and detailed event information. Customers create an account to manage purchases and sales, with customer service support available for inquiries.

Key Considerations for Buyers and Sellers

Prospective users should be aware of several important aspects of the service. The platform offers a Viagogo Guarantee, which states that buyers will receive valid tickets for their event on time or will be provided with comparable or better tickets or a refund. For sellers, the guarantee implies protection against fraudulent buyers. However, as with any secondary market, customers are advised to:

  • Research the face value of the ticket before purchasing.
  • Understand the total cost, including all fees, before completing a transaction.
  • Review the specific ticket delivery method, as options can range from e-tickets to express courier services.
  • Check the seller's notes regarding seat details, as listings are for re-sold tickets which may have restrictions.

The secondary ticket market, including platforms like Viagogo, is subject to regulations and scrutiny in various jurisdictions, particularly concerning pricing transparency and consumer rights. The company emphasizes its role in providing a secure platform for fan-to-fan transactions, ensuring both parties are protected through its guarantee and verification processes.

Conclusion

In summary, Viagogo.co.uk serves as a comprehensive secondary marketplace for live event tickets, offering a wide selection for buyers and a sales venue for sellers. Its model is built on market-driven pricing and a fan-to-fan exchange, backed by a customer guarantee. Users engaging with the platform are encouraged to conduct transactions with an awareness of the secondary market nature, ensuring they make informed decisions regarding pricing, fees, and ticket validity for their chosen live entertainment experiences.
